december mist
glistening
under streetlights
dreams
bare limbs wave
a night of song
refrains once sung
recalled
as if another life
a love spell cast
as if another life
recalled
refrains once sung
a night of song
bare limbs wave
dreams
under streetlights
glistening

I’ve lost family, my friends vanished, and love was disillusioned. I fail to remember when I lost myself that is why I carry on with my mouth taped, hands hammered down to this splintered chair, legs tide down like a criminal that I am, before I let you know what you don’t see and mislay you as well.
My soul is crying for your eyes.
I got lost there when I first saw them.
The pain inside of me,is haunting me,is hunting me.
Because you are so very far away;but not in my mind.
Sand it blows through my hands.
Far it may go or stay whirling beside me.
I love to wake in your darkest dreams.
I'll chase away what may frighten you.
Come we run, faster we may run,
with piercing sky shadows.
My soul is crying for you eyes.
I got lost there when I first saw them.
