Clouds of glory
Descending from on high
In our heart wishing and sorry
In soberness and deep sigh
To live and not to die.
Clouds of glory
The event anticipated
Just like the Bible story
Our faces divinely painted
For it patiently waited.
Psalms are rendered
Recitals are made
Confessions are voiced out
And the tempo rises
Sweat oozes from the body
Ecstasy is evident, yet unexplainable
With reeling and rolling
Stooping and shouting
The forces of darkness are choked up
O yes! They are left with no choice
Intermittent periods of soberness
The ambience thickened with a taste of spirituality
More periods of soberness
The ambience is sterile
Requiem is observed, and
The grace is shared
