some tried to put her into boxes
wanted to hang labels on her
she punched her way out
kicking and shrieking her truth
we marveled at her sense of self
She is the complete package
Her clothing and her hair are just so

Love, forgiveness every where
We respect to elder and child
We think about them and care
A new life welcomes us
