Adamo
Exalt the man if thou give you light
Exclude the stars if thou feign thee night
For doth these whispers kiss thou stars
Alas the dreams whence yours now ours
Give thy love and free this heart
My words art yours for dreams impart
Elevated worship and too exalted amiss
My soul seethed aflame for one's sweet kiss...

Sally Snake Bites Her Tongue
Sally snake seethed silently
She’d bitten her tongue and it hurt
Sally slowly sidled in the sand dunes -
Unable to speak but alert
The venom it spread through her body
She hissed and cursed in her head
No antidote for the poison within her
Now alas poor Sally snake lies dead
30th June 2016...

Medusa
As venomous as her snakes,
Don’t let her honeyed words crawl onto you.
Or else you will be bitten to death;
She will tell lies in front of you.
Indescribably at her best manipulating the weak,
Her tyranny never failed to charm me;
It surged week after week.
Medusa’s cruelty seethed all over the place.
The damned wicked gorgon is resurrected;
She’s one for the ages....

Light Has Returned
Darkness filled my soul
Every time I watched you go
Knowing not if you felt for me
The same way I felt for thee.
Miscommunication and anger seethed
Not knowing if you still loved me
You said you loved me, but loved not showed
Your words said yes, but your actions said no.
A holiday break, a conversation made
A light of love renewed showed its ray
Now as before my love showed bright
And loved returned made day from night....

That's the Truth Part 2
"I'm to blame"
She screamed in her head
"It's all my fault"
She seethed, punching the wall
"It will never be ok"
She cried as the demons raged in her head
"Worry grips me"
She felt as pain tore her heart
"It won't be the same"
She pleaded as her blood boiled
"I can't stop the tears"
She sighed as the whiskey burned her throat
"I hate you!"
She swore as her sanity broke
"I regret everything"
She thought as her body crimpled to the ground...

I do not know?
Asparagus
Every time she ate asparagus
I knew it.
The place seethed.
Every time a bad dream
Rocked her night.
I kicked just a little.
She wasn’t alone, ya know.
Every time she sang to me
I pressed closer
To the wall to enjoy.
She would respond
And stroke herself.
Myself.
Felt things lowering
Another happy voice
Joined in
But with that light
That whoosh of air.
It all changed.
Harder to second guess now.
But I’ll get it back.
We're buds....
