I remember a time
When all was so bright
With bustling crowds 
And neon lit nights

Covered wagon caterpillars 
And bunnies of blue
Teacups that spun
You sat in them too

I remember the days
When scooters could fly
Pinball was king
And everything thrived

I remember the smells
Of hot dogs & beer
I remember it all
And wish it still there

It's pseudo science, therefore not even an original idea
I'll throw it away at the end of this poem rather than dedicate my lifes work to it
I have a somewhat rare blood group 
Briefly wondered whether I surround myself with similar
Mosquitoes don't like to bite me
I'm carrying a scooter so can't develop this idea 
It's lucky I have to carry scooters and such
What may have become of me otherwise...

Ferry on the river;
‘Copter in the sky.
Bicycles and scooters
(Some with bells!) all pass me by.

Joggers pound the pavement;
Walkers simply stroll.
Benches are deserted.
(Recent raindrops took a toll.)

Still, I’m out here sitting,
Checking out the scene,
Feeling not quite up or down
But somewhere in between.

As my trusty pencil
Jots each thought upon a line,
It helps record reflections
Found within this mind of mine....

Pillow touched voices grow closer

Apple grass licks my bare feet
As I launch from
The room soon corrupted
By sugar filled noses
And failed breathalyzers
And thrown utensils 
And threatened throats
Coated with failed divorce
And corrupt psychology
And unanswered questions
And dollar bill love,
But my love costs more
Than cherry bicycles
And lightning scooters....
