The Empty Apartment -
Damp winter cold pervades
The emptiness
White painted walls
Clean sanded floors
All signs of occupation
Gone -...

Flight Off the Paper
Old Chinese paintings
on sanded paper veneers
depicting swift flight
of a thousand long necked cranes
still trapped, just piercing the sky....

Tumbleweed
So much depends upon.
The tumbleweed.

Delicate and lonely.
The tumbleweed.

Lonesome and dead.
The tumbleweed.

Sanded and lifeless.
The tumbleweed.

We can restore.
The tumbleweed....

Premium Member The Merchant Beguile
the merchant beguile
sat not sanded, miracle mile
what went where whence
was their way, around the fence
in American fen
gators and crossbow
sickened accosted
absolutely aware
awed without care
float and flutter
your way through this life
see me clear
back to my wife...

Premium Member Whispers of Serenity
Sun-soaked sanded seeds
Sit by silver seas.
Serenely sewn seams
Seal edges of sunny dreams
Soft sails sing silken songs
Sincerity sweetly sings along.

The whispers of Serenity.

It might sound corny...but it is still a hug from
the heart to you, Sharon Weimer...

Perry's Disinclination for Mushrooms

A mushroom is not something new
Inside some pasta or a stew.
But, when it comes to feeding Perry,
A mushroom is extraordinary!

John's Surgery

An eyeball must be a perfect sphere.
If an imperfection should appear,
A handy doctor, not ham-handed,
Will use his head and have it sanded....

The Mail Box
it leans nailed to an old cedar post
sanded by the desert wind
U.S.MAIL on it's dented side.

a black mouth
where the door used to be
offers precious relief
from a white hot sun

something sleeps in this dark place
coiled and still, filling the space

suddenly disturbed
by a rusty gate
it waits to deliver
the mailmans fate...

The Retreat
Vibrations awaken
the still night air,
unsettling the
sanded

Footprints..

At our steps,
one last clinging
before I let go,
of the skies

That stretch, across
our hidden place,
Like ghosts of
remnants

We bathe, in
phosphate
covered sheets

Bare..

Shivers escaping
through cascades
of hair, he strokes
the frail of my skin

like butter I twist,
I'm impaled,
so I inhale
him....

Tide
Gemstones on a shoreline
maladjusted to the saltiness of fallen tears
basted in the din of sunbeam atoms colliding
the neap, a resting time from mortal waveforms
towed beneath the sanded plasma of sinking unblown glass
a final lash, a glinting sorrow, an eternal goodbye
so many facets unturned, a reminder of the emptiness
no shimmer on the barren plains of shore, a reflection
of the once and final aortic beat...

Noiseless Nonsense So Intense
Noiseless Nonsense

am sure pure nonsense
bought things that are noiseless
which was so intense

is a leaf raker
while being a heart breaker
needs an undertaker

to him have handed
when things he loudly sanded
to leave cat our demanded

should see him sweep and sweep
when the pile was wide and deep
went to sleep after counting sheep

Put together doors
Big wholes creates and bores
were rotten to cores...

If I had some clay
I would work with it
To create a vase
or make a soap dish

Working with wet clay
Ins easy to work with
Making it into something
To be so proud of

The large items made
on the potter's wheel
It takes time to shape
Making objects right

After twelve hours made
Then into the kilm
Next to be sanded
After that g;lazed

Then painted again
Returned to the kilm
Once more again
Then apply the felt...

kingdoms notes
You stole my far away kingdom
didn't say what for?
Said I didn't have the jurisdiction
to grapple my own crown

The ice resurrects steely bacteria
will our antibiotics endure?

I feel all elephantine
the piper is never paid
My foot prints are all asunder
on ancient sanded dunes

My ship is sinking
The troubadour sings
The innkeeper perilously on the cliff yelps
some erratum does he detect

God's Winter Stage
Beautiful to view,
Magnanimous and scenic,
Gingerbread houses with snow covered trees ,
Blessed by diversified weather,
Cool and refreshing,
The crisp sound of the snow as you walk,
Sidewalks clean and sanded,
The sound of cars and buses our good friends,
We are a civilized species of the Lord,
Dependent on our belief of God,
The restaurant a haven for companionship and delicious foods,
God's winter stage, we are guests of good will.

Kissing An Angel
You've sanded down the edges of my broken heart.
No longer do they pierce me.
You've stopped me from falling apart.
Like shattered glass I was a cracked reflection
Of past loves that only could do wrong.
You've entered my life just in time to save me from the past.

An angel with a healing wing you have caressed me
And carried me into a better place.
Your strong arms wrapped around me.
The passion in your kiss
Oh to be kissing an angel...
I surrender myself to you heaven....

My Roll Top Desk
My desk is made of solid oak
It’s forty-two inches wide
The top is made with many slats
Up and down, they can slide

For certain is a real antique
Of a hundred years or more
Old Trader Joe got it for me
Right off the “Odd Fellows” floor

My wife and I sanded it smooth
After we had stripped it clean
Applied and rubbed the finish in
You wouldn’t believe the sheen

My desk is such a beauty
No other could please me more
It has a lifetime of memories
I keep inside the drawers...
