So water for you is thicker than blood
what happens when that water rises
and causes a flood
when that water falls into your dirt
and leaves you standing in mud
all alone and hurt
Will you think of me
when the blood drops on your shirt
Form:
My whole life, I've been in a tank.
There has always been water in it.
It filled the tank past my head.
But I had a life jacket.
I could cope with the water.
There was no fear of drowning.
Until now. My life jacket has
been taken away, and I cannot swim.
The water is weighing down on me,
pressing against me from all sides.
Form:
paint a picture of a landscape thats surreal to reality
a place that you could never imagine
where water flows to the sky
and the rain comes from the ground
no trees for cover
no mountains to gaze at
just water flowing through the ground
ripping life away from all it encounters
in this picture there is no ground
no solid place to fall on
its just a free fall to no where
Gasping for air
Down under the water
I come back up
Take a deep breath
Down under the water
Everything as murky blue
Take a deep breath
The water is bitter
Everything as murky blue
My vision is fading
The water is bitter
My eyes are closed
My vision is fading
The water caresses me
My eyes are closed
As my life leaves me
The water caresses me
Floating weightlessly
As my life leaves me
And I am free
