Good and Ready
I looked above the other day.
I know that I am good and ready for a change.
Why can’t I catch up with life?
It’s getting ahead of me.
I run like the wind, as it chases the brownest leaves on the trees.
Where can I turn?...

When you’re young
  you run with the wind
laugh in the face of time

Of a sudden you’re old
  you hobble, chagrined
    every step a tortuous climb

Though if young knew of old
  as old knows of young
   no melody’d ever be sung...

Worms Behind My Molars
While death nears, it's wintertime in my soul, my
Once vibrant spirit tires out, no longer can I
Run with the wind like springtime in my flesh. Behind
My molars, worms will feed when death comes, then I’ll
Sleep in the heart of the earth until a better day....

within
the womb
of silent death
where Summer tree's
sway no more

we search each cloud
in muted
promise
in hope
a dream shall climb above

where silent hearts
as blue as death
crawl beneath
a vale no more

I scream of Summer
a hymn of love
And run beyond the wind

before the chill
of night
consume....

within the womb
of silent death
where Summer tree's
sing no more

The Realm
How did I get to where I am
Only thru the senescence of life am I
Sensing nothing earthly at this time
My spirits instantaneous apprehension knows
Shadowed by flora, contained by earth, I lay down
Auras obstructed by man made
Satin and teak, what do they mean
Slowly rising, I sense light, aromas, and movement
Invalid dogmas in retrospect, passing obliquely
Obfuscating life as it was
More light, I run before the wind
This is future, I'm free...

The Winds of Life
Life's a struggle a battle
within, everything around
you seems rather dim.

A light shines upon you,
energised like superman by
the sun. You run like the wind,
Seemingly racing and chasing
to win.

Slow down it's already done!
Your family and friend
support you and Jenna's the
one. You've already won.

You'll soar like the eagle, life
holds in-store for you so much
more. Be bold step up to the
mark. Push through the wall,
reach destiny's goals....

A Body Strong
I was born to run like the wind! Alas, age took away my legs! I can no longer keep a steady pace, as I try to walk away, my pain will not subside! All I feel is my morning cries as I rise it brings bleeding tears! I’m growing weak before my eyes, Losing control brings my worst fears. Oh, if I could run as I did when I was young! Why must age destroy? Why must pain always erase the feel of a body strong?

I Am a Beautiful Girl
I am a Beautiful Girl, living with Autism.
I leap, dance, and spin around circle while I try to make sense of the world around me.
I am a Beautiful Girl,
I sing, I jump, and I run like the wind.
I am a Beautiful Girl,
When the world around me becomes too much I scream, shout, hide, or even bang my head.
I am a Beautiful Girl,
With a beautiful spirit and God made me unique, I am a human being that just wanted to be understood and to be treated with respect.
I am a Beautiful Girl!...

Temptation is in the sunset
To gaze behind the stern
Toward a distant landfall
To which I may ne’er return.

I will point my bow to westward,
Where yonder sets the sun,
Following true my guide star
Until the sailing is done.

I will never sing of lost loves
And things that might have been.
I will run before the wind
Unless I return again.

Leave, furled in full sail glorious,
Damn what is in the wake!
Do not let the shore-bound gulls
Let me feel it's a mistake....
