Forever Alone

I drugged my demons
Ritualistic suicide
Speaking the word
Of indifference-
I woke one day embodied in manhood–
Self searching –
Self seeking-
I began the anatomy of a prince in ruins-
The legend remains,
A child-

It's a Wonder

It's a wonder,
  indeed it is
her hand in yours, not his.
The rhythmic beating of your heart
desperate to speak but dare not
for fear of betrayal fearing the start,
that love is more than just a chemical spark
 and every glance you take
is but a ritualistic dance and embrace faked
that plays a game of hide and seek
 worthy of attempts and repeats
each that may or may not be
beginnings of the romance trot.

People Trapped In Marble

Jul 2013
Chennai

Proof that an indivisible portion of time exists,
Frozen in that time, unchanging,
Morphed into the metamorphic rock, forever,
Hacked, packed, moved,
masoned into walls of a ritualistic enclosure

I can drink on them for hours,
Look into their eyes,
Isolated, purified, distilled to 175° proof,
One expression, one thought, one pain,
...maybe that is why I can see them

Or maybe I just spend too much time in that room

Anxiety

sometimes it is not real
 those words you spit out

 venom ladened
 enclosed in a ritualistic chant

 haunting the night
 shadows confirm my thought

 deeper into everything
 i am consumed

 deeper and deeper i sink
 can't find up

 the pressure is so overwhelming
just want it to end as you begin

 you whisper your screaming thoughts
i find it harder to be

 in this sea of uncertainty
 drowning sweetly deep

Digital Distance

We are caught up in this digital distance
Tangled in strings of binary code
Texting in sequence but in silence
Transmitting thoughts on keystroke roads.

We are caught up in tactile indigence
An impoverished need for human touch
We receive electronic mental perceptions
By fonts implied as such.

We are caught up in digital rambling
Ritualistic taps of thoughts and rhymes
Suffocating until we tap, release and enter
Into the electronically charged sublime.
