A prime-numbered day if years leap
Adds one extra cycle for sleep
This calendar fact
Keeps seasons intact
And discounts our rents that ain't cheap...

ASCNYC fortifies me
It regulates words glowing from my head
It translates itself as great help
Helping one and all
To climb from dungeon of fear, to
Mount floors with open doors
Like arms giving warmth
ASCNYC rents center stage for you and me.

A valentine be childish not
'Tween lovers or 'mongst friends
For rebirth of the kindness brought
Does truly mend past rents.

So as I pass the days near you
With freshness in my dreams
I know from grays come skies of blue
Like seasons' change it seems....

Lazy Leader
Exorbitant-

extortionist,

self-orient-

red-royalties with,

oil based rents...

Ten-tentacle dresses,

head-level-leftover-ness.

the fled are those who made precautions press,

Big Mega-Stores and Malls - Small Houses
Big malls and mega-stores, equals small houses,
With Waring spouses,
And children often the losers.

Making cents, not sense,
Politicians talking nonsense,
About skyrocketing rents.

When will the penny drop,
About the way we shop,
So, we can wear collars less hot....

I Wonder
I Wonder
As the rain continues to fall I think of you
I wonder what I am going to do
As the lightning rents the sky in two
I wonder what I am going to do

As lips part and taste the essence of you
I wonder what I am going to do
As the pillows weep when you are gone
I wonder how I will carry on.

A scuba diver rents a boat
The driver of the boat goes
into the deep water
There he prepares himself
To be ready for the big dive
Then jumps into the deep water

Seeing some fish fish-he swims
Being side by side enjoys
          the fun
When the divers tires
he returns to the boat
To take him to the shore
       once more...

Hero of the Ghetto
The hero of the ghetto comes into veiw as a mother who had a new born baby
Who finds out rents do and the daddy fled and left you to lay in your bed alone
and he gave you a heart of stone knowing you have to be strong for your own self
and the seed of a man who said he would take care of you needs
but indeed he ran off to be free and now you have to feed the baby and provide its needs...

Confluence
a prime stream makes her course
along niger’s foot-path
a juxtapose of ancestral headstones
& there: life sings like death?
& there: death cries into life?
for ancients are new arrivals at life!

o, a new cry ever rents this sky
along niger’s foot-path
now, greeting our drumming sky
o, a navigator of a mystery-path
lay on a fragile bedside seeking attention
a weird thunder of a rainy commotion!...

A Matter of Stuff
Gramps knows a minister
who collects classic Corvettes.
He rents another garage whenever

he buys another Corvette.
He says his estate will sell the cars
when he passes away.

The money will go to the poor.
Gramps knows another minister who
has turned down a gift of beautiful quilts.

She said give them to Oliver Burns
whose children sleep under blankets
the sightless can see through.

Wings of bat spread on curved moon’s mystique screen, autumn air rents in howl of goblins green, moon dust blue hue pumpkins spray. Trick or treat masked children say, awake in weird night for it’s Halloween. Cloaked figure with hooded face in mask tight, Dracula greets the vampire, his friend right, dances wild as if sprite-gripped, until their thin robes are ripped, flung far in dark air of Halloween night.

Premium Member She and He
She dreams of mansions; apartments he rents.
She’d love a Corvette; he drives a Chevette.
She stays in hotels while he sleeps in tents.
She’s been to Europe; he’s never gone yet.

He works as butcher; she faints seeing blood.
He goes for beer, while she adores champagne.
He’s earth; she’s water. You’d think they’d make mud.
But they make passion again and again!

  As barren as the moon,
  Perhaps not later,
  But soon!

  Filtered air,
  Seawater collected,
  Eaten with chop sticks,
  If you please,
Whatever we can eat with ease!

Too hot to live on the surface,
  Burrow under the ground.
  Deep enough for cooling temps,
Not enough to raise the rents!

  Everyone moves to shaded ground,
  Rocks hold heat,
  So, underground!

The moon is looking better all the time,
  Not so crowded,
  To move around.
