We must remove ourselves from this
selfish appointed darkness of ego
and move to a light of eternal
truth, love and compassion,
that remakes us into beings
of unconditional everything.
Blue eyes laugh takes hold of heart
the moment we met love was a part

AFTER THE STORM
Mid deepest black of heart break sorrows
Vanish fear of dread tomorrows,
Cruel pain that scars and shakes us
Bravely heals and then remakes us.
Dawn Light bids from far flung hills,
Joy surrounds –with each step thrills.
Doubts will vanish with a sigh--
Mindless worries pass us by.
Treasured arms enfold us--warm--
After the storm.

When someone’s East,
Is someone else’s West.
The movies and music and the Broadway scene
Are just a few,
Of remakes of remakes,
That they want you to believe are all brand new.
Now that everything that was old,
Is now what is new,
It is as confusing as living,
At the corner of,
Sunset Blvd. and Sunrise Ave.
