Fatness

The fatness of your skin insulates
My still small voice infiltrate
To the depth of a thick soul
A mind never regenerated
In my new ways pronounce
And your way is thicket as you chose it
And trod not in ways ancient
Hence peace is vapor

For the Love of Freedom

somewhere underneath
the silence of a damaged
love...

chains broken
truth spoken
food serenity
house divinity
healing hands
tribal lands
throwing fire
misguided desire
rerouted heart
regenerated start

...and at last we're together again

I Am Borg

Learning but not understanding
Touching but not feeling
Seeing but not reaching

Life is irrelevant
Collectives are sufficient
Futile for resistances
As we are efficient

But
With my connection severed
I am no member
Now lost forever

When I have regenerated
I will be evaluated
Then I will be assimilated

Because I am Borg

INACTION

The chubbiness of your dense casing
Is an insulator indeed
The small still voice is hindered permeate
The depth of a copious essence
A mind never regenerated
In new known ways to profit
Hence your way is wood as you cuddle it
Time’s river drowning dreams afar shore
As you trot in ways antique
With golden opportune wilting
Hence amity is fog

Put Your Mind To Rest

An empty space
Fade to black
Exposed for the taking
Vital is this
Open lot to sanity
Brace yourself
Darker than the night
Brighter than the sun
Bask in the glow
Of peace and calm
Life is started here
Ends here and
In every sense
Regenerated here
Brief recesses
Gallivanting in the cortex
Refresh my soul
Priming me to face
The universe once again

Spring Invites me to Play

Dandelions are breezily blowing
Perky dots on lilies seem to be saying hi
Spring needs her own adjectives for her feeling
Refreshed, rejuvenated, regenerated, regrown
These are but a start of the emotions of April
None of the other months encourage me to dance
Spring invites me to sing, spin, skip, twirl and twist.
She takes me back to age six and lets me play

Love's Affluence

Serenely blissful while vanquishing apathy a loving heart, divinely regenerated by faith keeps abounding* in altruistic opulence gratefully triumphant in worshiping the Lord.
*Colossians 2:7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving. July 27, 2020 4th place, "Four Lines" Poetry Contest Sponsored by Constance La France; judged on 7/27/2020.

Another Agenda

Like an accursed
child That has
refused her mother's
womb peace We
hear slogans of agenda
Dangling in the
lips Of our
rebooted acolytes Of
directlionless leaders
chewing their mouths like
kolanut lost in a journey of
an aborted
marriage This
several seasons like
abiku,our ears host
agendas that dumps us in
regenerated darkness
while dollars transforms to
mountains in coded swiss
bank accounts
