Your Fall recurrence,

                                     sprinkling lawns multicolor.

                                          But your pedals drop.

Recurrence

Rain drops rejoiced ....
It relished its fall from the womb
Cause of its inception
Also rejoiced...
Because he only pulled it up .....
Just to see its recurrence.
Thus he taught us “Life"

Images

Images

Imprint of holocaust
         indelibly entrenched
implodes with recurrence
          Injuring array of
icons evokes nightmares
         inciting shrill screams of
infant left motherless

Life dances with death

Decades pass, heaven awaits

Death dances with life!*

*If someone thinks this poem is too short, he/she should read
my older poem ETERNAL RECURRENCE that, I am certain, he/she
will find it too LONG!

In the Place Where the Mountain Touches the Sea

In the place
where the mountain touches the sea
the rock proclaimed
in time all moments will return
and such was echoed
as a whisper
by the oak and the willow
but the ocean
who knows much of recurrence
remained mute
being too entranced
by each waves subtle difference
to appreciate the meaning
of the stone’s conviction

Deja Vu

Time is a cycle of events,
like history in constant repetition.
What happened then will happen again,
like how the world revolves in its axis.

The blast from centuries past
will surely have its future recurrence,
and after series of rebirths
they come in mind like a hazy occurrence.

~virus~

Vehemently tagging Victims
Impassively Impartial Illnesses Partake
Reveling in Recurrence and Replication
Unbarring any Understanding.....except Universal
Septum’s Of Organism’s Seeking Sinister Salvations

A VIRUS…….is no mortification
Rather simply
                     ......an unforeseen deceptive disguise
Fervently Floating through our thick .....polluted skies~

Wanted

Wanted

You go around searching for a place
That "place" being someone,
That place being something;
That place being somewhere;
Somewhere, you want to be wanted.

Thought he found it; he did: thought.
That turned out to be an ersatz: faux.
He left. He found.
Found the same "place"
A recurrence, a repeat
A déjà vu of what he thought he left.
A déjà vu of what he thought he escaped
Wanted.

Rainy Days and Mondays Contest

I contemplated a suitable description
To sum up my life. A truthful depiction
I considered a title for a romantic comedy
But I gave up romance, in exchange for monogamy
Humor is a product of my relentless misfortunes
I’m trapped in a recurrence of Monday mornings
In a permanent cloud. I’ll never get out
Indefinitely waiting on flowers to sprout
I realized my title should be gloomy and grey
I went with the name, Rainy Mondays

The Cross

The Cross

Deaths solace, silence harsh words of fears unknown
dread not the reaper
unwelcome cross, mark not my threshold
belief shall grant no safe passage
condemned self righteous, what right to steal souls?

In whose name is derision doled?
contemptuous harbinger of tidings best left unspoken
thus spake Zarathustra, eternal recurrence
indoctrinating endless opportunity
offer up the gift to those who see and have seen
antiquity replaced by stigmata.

Recurrence

I let the recurring changeability
Fall to my shoulders, like a lacy shawl.
It wrapped tight the sense of reality,
Telling me to feel miserable and small.

To get warm I light candles and see
My heart burst into flames one more time.
Tomorrow will bring no guarantee
Except for the stony peak I must climb.

At dawn the same sun will wake me up
Though different clouds will cover the sky.
I’ll brew tea in the same porcelain cup
And confront the same, recurring lie…

Premium Member the echo returns not

steeped in an ocean of time
slow motion’s recurrence reverberated
concentric circles rippled the tide
moored its anchor
in illusions of safety

yet the harbour was far away
a mere tug at a distant shore

once more it sent out its signal
as he finally snapped ready to drown

never again said the mermaid
leave the sinister hobgoblins
and straddle Atlantis with me

secured at last he acknowledged
that letting go of the past
meant freedom and safety
