Something happens when you get a 'name':
Moth-like phonies are drawn to your flame.
Fame brings envy more than 'looks' or wealth;
If you have all three – better add stealth....

I’d never seen a Fox Trot
      nor a Jittery Bug
   Though whenever I’d Twist
      in agony I’d Shout

But when a Hully became a Gully
and Monsters like Potatoes were Mashed
This Jerk got on his Pony ~
and Loco Motioned those Stoned Phonies

Premium Member Stood Up By Standbys
Listen to poem:
Shocked, taken aback,
I was stood up by my standbys
ever reliable phonies who stood by
and watched. My dear friends quaked

Happy New Year
May the New Year
Bring Ecstasy to everyone
   and hunger for none
Make the food crops grow
   and Rivers have perpetual flow
Help to halt the hatred
   and ruin the rancor
Comfort the indigenous people
   to strive against the evils
Enhance the global tourism
    and annul terrorism
Pinpoint the phonies
   and cleanse the cities
Smash the poverty
   and increase generosity
Promulgate universal peace
Shatter barriers into pieces
Wish you all a wonderful New year...
