Elegance

Elegance being discreet.
it does not show itself,
 but it is made perceptible
similar to the virtue
that is subtle and silent... !

Premium Member I need to leave a small blemish alone

a blemish small
barely perceptible
until I discovered it and worked it over
Now it is enormous, angry, and bleeding
By the time I get through it will scab and scar

Death of Today

A movement of air
In the night
Barely perceptible
To the sight

A whisper of air
The days' final breath
For the clock is ticking
The days' coming death

Last minutes fade
Till the day is history
Its death soon to come
Nevermore shall this day be

Trois Par Huit-Trustfully

Egotism
is far from altruism,
it's sustained by a glory so vain and fragile;
amassing wealth as the impulsive imbecile...
shunning a guilt so perceptible.
Their riches were to be shared by many:
to prosper, love and pray
trustfully.

In the Skin of Shy.

Too safe, in alabaster skin.
(Quiet, reserved and breathing.)
So safe, the girl I am within.
(In corners, impossible waiting.)

Too loud, the rhythm in my ears.
(Conundrum, perceptible weaving.)
So loud, the soluble sting of fears.
(In labors, I find myself breathing.)

Please, my love... Break me.

In The Silence of The Spirits

They burnt tons of tusks
But the felled beasts
Remained silent still
In the spirit realm
Watching the fire slowly
Consume pieces of themselves

Waiting quietly
In that realm
Where their glorious trumping
Is not perceptible to the living

Waiting patiently
For their brothers, sisters
Sons, daughters and
Pieces of themselves
To join them
In the silence of the spirits

Of Beauty, Justice and Truth

Of Beauty, Justice and Truth

Concern ye not with,
What is right or wrong
Lie with what is beautiful.

Worry ye not about,
Who is not feeding the hungry,
Dance with what is just.

Fear ye not of
Breaking the rules made by
Frightened, frozen little men,
Embrace your own perceptible truth.

Love beauty.
Be just.
Pursue truth.

Premium Member Write of Passage New Birth

From tumultuous discussions within
images strive for life as a new-born
child wriggles from the womb.First
an outline,then in silhouette,each
unique line,a perceptible signature,so
individual and more personal than
a diary.This spontaneity impetuously
releases the extrovert upon this page,
squeezed out as rain in an arid world.
Artistic inspiration writes itself, as
I merely provide the pen

Swathed in shadows deep
she looked up
   from her far below
     of down under
   seemingly afloat
hesitating at the bottom
   of the long staircase.

Only a faint outline
of her oval face perceptible,
framing dark eyes
   opened wide hugely round
pupils expanded
   like an exaggeration
   a caricature drawn...

The doorway to her soul
   open wide
revealing a pathos
   deeper than hell.
