Premium Member Prashna Upanishad verse 1:9

he who seeks liberation
is in a state of separation
desiring to go from here to there
although God or Self is everywhere

practices based on belief
offers the heart no relief
so simply remaining self-aware
even the need to ascend outstare

in the here now moment is where we dwell
of the timeless continuum aware
free from fear and desire, no cats to bell
cravings of ego as we so outstare
all nodes within with throb of bliss beats pair
seeking nothing and yet vibrant always
to God’s light within is turned our soul’s gaze

Jekyll and Hyde decided to entwine,
remaining at all times fully aware,
that come what may, they needed to align
with pulse of love, for which they must outstare
cravings of ego, which they must decline,
by remaining still, life’s ultimate dare.
In the womb of love opposites dissolve,
paving way for both of them to evolve.

Premium Member Here now this morn

even when we be caught in a web of thought
at the stillness fulcrum we are self-aware
of the fact that life’s dream dance amounts to naught
and thus trance of delusion we can outstare
so bilocation having become the norm
core of being is motionless in each storm
enabling us to remain at all times free
weaving our way through life blissful and carefree

My Cat

Shes a huntress
least that offend you
I have a fictional affair
with my cat
All she wants is love and warmth
Her eyes follow me
her paws entangle my hands
The elixir of her dighty breath
is unearthly
She not outstare me
She knows my moods
although I can never second guess hers
She ages with dignity
I indulge her with my feelings
Her countenance knows withstanding

Instrument of mind, let us rest,
power from ego gently wrest,
that as awareness self-aware,
our bliss anointed heart is blest.

No agenda left to declare
and ego cravings we outstare,
we then recognise who we are,
laying before God, our heart bare.

For too long we played below par
and from God’s light drifted afar
but in silence, the Self is seen,
shining brighter than the North Star.

Many Parts

This is where it should be
the easiest thing in the world -
Standing on the top of a tree
is the only place where my mind unfurled.

choices free
ride away
outstare the sun
sing for a day.

fine by me
care so much
be the one
first rain-songs touch

spinning free
on back of a wave
freedom's touch
my own life to save

All these tricks were played out loud
I should have lived forever glazed
But I fixed my mind, by hiding in a crowd
And like a new dawn, my mind's eye Blazed.
