ominous skies of gloom
orbit through my head
obsessive while oblivious
ornery dragons and
offspring hovering
o’er lofty castles
obtusely perched in
opulent misty glens
of opportunistic prophecy

Surmising they are right and never wrong.
Confidence in what they do makes them strong.
Opportunistic with whatever comes along.
Rectifying anything that may go wrong.
Perspicacious judgment in all that they see.
Insight into all eliminates any mystery.
Occupations produce goods and services with quality.

Pain

Conflicting thoughts in my head,
None escape; left unsaid.
It rips through my organs,
Like tree roots under tarmac,
It's anchored down deep,
forcing cracks on the surface.

Those opportunistic storms,
Further weaken defences,
Cracks widen, highways crumble,
From the core, I implode.
Conflicting thoughts in my head
and more tears still to shed.

Hubris

When they told me it was a fringe
I told them scuttling the common man
This country is about to binge
The tea party is a revolution
Opportunistic like a parasite, O do not get me wrong
For I am a lover of nature
And believe it is the right of every creature
To have its existence. I just miss the song
That the wasp never sings
And guard against the venom when it stings.

They get a group of scientists and ask them to work on flying machines.
They give them flying machines and they use them to bomb cities,
so how can scientists be scientific if they have allegiance to their country,
instead of pledging allegiance to the earth managing resources intelligently.
This would be true scientists to me.
Scientists in the military are not true scientists.
They are prostitutes or greedy opportunists.

Womanhood

Wisdom wild wavering wyrd, wonder of winsome ways
Ostentatiously opportunistic, Orpheus oneiric orchid,
Marvelously mystical mirth maker making man amaze
Ardently argumentative, and artistic accenter; avid
Nymph. Naturally nurturing nostalgic nidulation days
How do I praise the sweet excess in you, the grace
Oozing milk of kindness, compassion that bore me
Obdurate beauty more profound than the pretty face?
Dance dear dreamer devoid of drums drizzled memory.

Enemies of body, soul, and mind
Are rapidly on the incline.

With subtlety and deception,
With plan and determination,
Like a serpent hidden in weeds,
Waiting and lurking for evil deeds;
Hovering with opportunistic attitudes;
Capturing the mentalities of multitudes;
Causing them to switch tracks.

Looking and longing to attack,
They are vicious in their evil acts.
As they plan their destructive strikes,
May God ever grant us resolve to fight back.
