Life Sustenance

Parched dried up desert
Allows cactus to grow in lonely spot
Giving life sustaining liquid

Or Maybe for true Haiku:

Parched dried desert.
Cactus grows in lonely spot.
Liquid sustenance.

Thank you Raul!!!

Somewhere In September

Somewhere in September
where misty dewdrops fall
where pine trees bow to gloomy skies
I hear a lonely call

Somewhere in September
an emptiness lies
where hollow winds and saddened clouds
fill the weeping skies

Somewhere in September
I find a lonely pain
Something in September
I never could explain

Little Lonely Cloud

Little lonely cloud
Drifting through the sky
A thin gray shroud thrown over it
Perhaps it has died

The sky a beautiful blue
And not its normal hue

And how did a cloud
With a shroud
Ever find you?

You were sitting under trees
Watching the bees
Right by the seas

The sky was blue
There was no other but you

Now that lonely cloud
That had a shroud

Became a happy little thing, and
As your eyes touched the skies
Dreams were no longer lies…
sky
