Hugs (Butterfly)

It’s time for hugging,
                       a firm embrace

                             Comfort
                              Loving

Premium Member Heroine On a Hill

10/21/2033

The serene sunset at my back.
The realization, I reached the top,
And, in completion, that was that.

The acceptance of my life as it is.
No bloody need to prove I was best.
Such divine completion, sans explanation.

The sun had gone, first star winked at me.
Soft, warm, winds rustled my wild hair
Of this poetic heroine, high on a hill!

Panagiota Romios
Poem 3
“In My Own Style”
Form: Verse

Nothing Can Bring Me Down

Inspirational overtures
And unexplainable woes
All I really know for sure
Is I tingle to my toes

I write to see reaction
No matter what some may think
There will be no retraction
Not even if you say I stink

And I see by your reaction
That you may think I’m cracked
I say there’s no retraction
Not even if I get smacked

Some will read and smile
Others will look and frown
I keep writing my own style
Nothing can bring me down

Protected

I always had this smile
That would shine in people's hearts
I had my own style
Because in my mind
Thats how im taught
But something downed on me
And i couldn't just let go
Then a frown they see
And it felt like they were not bestowed
By my thoughts
And the way i felt
But then that smile came back
When i saw he knelt
Beside me and grabbed my hand
"Im here for you always"
Thats his promise
And i know thats a man
That will keep a woman protected
From harm
