Deceitful Worm
Pride, you deceitful worm,
how dare you so viciously trick a person’s mind?
Pride, you deceitful worm,
your fine physique hides a tormented core, infirm,
mutable, and harboring only thoughts maligned.
Lord, save me from the vilest villain designed,
Pride, you deceitful worm....

Nobody Runs, Nobody Hides
Nobody runs, nobody hides.
The element of love may not be described.
Not fire.
Not earth.
Not water.
Not air.
It becomes all and none.
Consumed and consuming,
Enveloping, enriching, a hiding place,
Embracing, mutable, a thing of tides,
Vapour, the stuff of breath.
And yet we welcome it.
When it comes,
Nobody runs, nobody hides....

Premium Member Autumn's Season
Autumn brushes her hair slowly Letting the glorious colors flow gently to the earth below. Showing off vibrant colors in contrast to summer's green dress. The Enemy resides in us
Not by invitation nor by ruse:
Bad day Good night

Could lone Yang gather in surplus
The Yin put down to no good use:
Dark day Bright night

Could the Almighty fear Evil
Is he ONE opposed to the ONE:
Both indigenes

Garden warblers’ pure early trill
Deaf magpies shriek and rasp their tongue:
Mutable genes

Logic Is a Casualty In Their War
The lies surround us
Seeping into our skin like water
Uncontainable
Unstoppable
Unattainable

The words spoken, once silent
Now decayed in our hearts
Intangible
Insidious
Indefatigable

The orderly mind now deceased
Ruled by passion, and anger, and hate
Mutable
Dilutable
Corruptible

Floodgates open wide
Pouring the fire of rage into our souls
Mindless
Thoughtless
Kindless

Logic is a casualty in their war....
