A Lost Memory

A lost memory

I listen
To this country music daily,
Remembering the endless songs
You use to play on this radio,
As you slowly let go
The music quieted.

You Are My Life....

Once I was asked to describe my life in one word.
I merely replied "music".
Music is my life
When you take away my music you take away my life
When you see me I have my headphones in my ears
For music is my life....

Reminiscence

I hear the past.
I feel refined.
As sounds of music echoe through my mind.

The moment lasts.
The feelings unwind.
To the sounds of music echoeing through my mind.

The song is vast.
Yet still confined.
To the length of the music.
That helped me rewind.

Music Box

I have a music box,
Plays tunes of heaven,
Specially made box,
Decorated with fairies from Devon.

In my music box,
Lives a ballerina,
she spins and twirls,
Dancing to the magical sound.

My box is my magic,
Where an angels cry,
Is no more heard,
Then silence in the dark.

Revolving

You can not force music and our souls apart.
The two form a permanent band allowing the music
to enter your body, and your body to hold the music.
Your appetite for peace, joy and dreams steadily grows.
You become one.
Your spirit
Your body
The music.

Music All Around

Listen, can you hear it?
There's music all around.
In the wind, in the earth,
All of creation sings.
Sings to its creator,
There's music all around.
Listen, can you hear it?

Listen, can you feel it?
There's music all around.
Can you feel it inside?
Bellow it out.
Sing to you creator,
There's music all around.
Listen, can you feel it?

Music

Turn the music up
Let the sound blare
Watch as our problems fade away
As we get caught up in the beat

Listen to the rhythm flow
Hear the notes rise
No longer is there hurt or pain
As we set our volume on high

I will ignore hatred
I shall push aside anger
Just let my music play
Allow the audio to strike my soul

And don't even dare to turn my music down.

Meditation-A Music of Soul

Mused by the rising waves of ocean
The whirls of wind gives sweet breathe.
All around nature music tries to soothe
Turning back from tumultuous world.
Few are those who actually appreciate
Rest are blessed not in unusual sense.
Meditation reflects the inner harmony
The best music of world than ever produced...

The Sound of Music

I never thought when you talked, it would trap me
I wasn't prepared for it, it made me weak
Like music it plays right into my head, my own little tune
If anything, i needed to escape to you
To get away from any affliction, that will break me down
Inside my head, plays a little sound
not too low, not too loud
Call it a drug?, whatever, its all i want to hear
Baby you're music to my ears ?

Grandfather's Record Player

Grandfather's record player

I remember grandfather use to have a record player,
Johnny Cash use to sing his lullaby every night.

My fascination of this amazing invention increased,
The record spins as a needle glides across it,
How is this music created?

My imagination rotates around this music,
Grandfather always hums this tune,
Johnny's voice slowly gets softer...
The music stops.

Music Lover

Music is cool,
music is loud,
music is sweet,
it rocks me to the beat.

I love how they sound
music is awsome
when its played to the crowd
Everyone gather to hear
a sweet symphony so clear

Take drums, guitars, or any music instrament
Take your heart and soul, use your head
make music come out to hear

Music inspires you to write,
to sing, dance, or take flight.
Music is for everyone,
but music is for me.

Sisters In Harmony

Beautiful music pouring from the soul
The music in front and the keys are below

Trying out melodies and harmonies alike
Playing piano untill the morning light

Two peas in a pod; a bond like no other
Tied together with music and love for each other

Our fingers caress the keys with a flourish
Our hunger for music is that which we nourish

But even if music should come to an end
I'm glad the piano has brought me a friend

Music of the Spheres

The soft music rose gradually
Like smoke from a freshly doused fire.
I listened to it intently
And my inner voice enquired,
Where is the source of this music?
I’m positive I am alone
And doubt if it’s some sort of trick
Played on me by some asinine drone;
Couldn’t be, it’s absolutely
Heavenly sounding to my ears
With its timbre simplicity.
It must be music of the spheres
Inaudible except for me,
the wind and the eternal sea.

This Music Will Be the End of Me.

in my head, you control my thoughts
your lyrics are my words
your beat makes me hurt
concerned, i've been burned
trying to escape, escape my fate
it's too late
taken by the way you make me feel
this can't be real
an emotional drill, finding thrills
the music is my spill
the space it fills, where his face used to be
so hard to see, what the music has done to me
so ashamed of the way i am, i choose to be
this music will be the end of me.

Music Box Melody

Lay your head down on my chest,
What do you hear?
The music box melody.
Wind it up,
With just a kiss
Just a touch,
And hear the music that pours through.
I hear it always,
Whenever I say your name,
Or You call mine,
And time just seems to fly by.
Do you see it when I smile?
When I laugh with the melody?
Listen with your ear to my heart.
Can you hear it?
Can you wind it up,
With a smile?
With a hug?
Wind up to play,
The Music Box Melody.

Listen To the Lyrics Or Not

Listen to the lyrics or not,
Just start dancing on the spot.
Let the music fill your soul,
Let the beat take control.
Close your eyes and drift away,
The sound of music will always stay.

Step back and look around,
Do you hear that awesome sound?
Just start swaying beat to beat,
Then you start to move your feet.
Take a deep breath it’s still going,
The sound of music is still flowing.

So listen to the lyrics or not,
Just start dancing on the spot.
