Misspoken
Trump’s words are always
“misspoken,” so he now claims;
wish he’d stop speaking....

You’ve misspoken my heart is broken;
You’ve insist you’ve witness;
A winked eye, a blown kiss;
Most of all these things are just tokens;

Words On the Run
Poetic intention,
hiding in Prose

Misplaced and misspoken,
as every Bard knows

A narrative run on,
words littered about

Neither beauty nor truth
—masked in self doubt

The Inept Ritualist
Nude, she stood alone in a copse of trees
Brine taste of sea air brushing her skin
Distracted mind, thinking of him
Should not be here, in this place
Circle glows somber green
A single misstep
Misspoken word
Tentacles
Drag her
Down...

Premium Member Erasing Memories
Of its own volition
the brain erases time,
to rearrange events,
or change truth;

an embarrassing moment,
a misspoken word,
cowardly act,
wrong decision,
missed opportunity,
or lost love.

If you could call back time,
you'd become a sieve,
and filter out
all the pain....

Nothing Less Than You
Deep inside are colors
Laced with winter blue
Lost about this madness
Nothing less than you
I remain misspoken
Afraid of many things
Without a trace of sadness
Lost without a clue
Mixed up in our emotions
And trust enough to due
Deep inside our colors
Laced with winter blue...

My heart is broken yet I'm okay I was misspoken and let away I was delighted and often excited I fell on my knees and prayed my heart wasn't Stone my Spirit wasn't broken I stood still with raised hands and I looked up in the skies and spoken I am alive in Christ

Premium Member Ai Peers Within
Listen to poem:
Watch its lips, did they move,
when 'AI' my dummy doll spoke
the words of a billion
ventriloquist puppeteer peers?
Watch the dummy's eyes,
if they wildly rolled from side to side
AI is tripping onto the misspoken,
trying to be original, creative,
pulling its own strings
making things up, as it goes off script, numb, dumb,
misspeaking, shamming, faking it,
hallucinating on dumbness....

Someone is broken; Someone misspoken; I'm not a token Yet I am beholden can't feel a thing; don't have any rings Won't you just pray for me; someone is hurtN; I don't believe in role play; Could you come today; Will you pray for me; come stay with me; My high hopes are heavenly; I just need to be held;

Standing Corrected
When a person speaks in error
With a slip you have detected,
You’re often better staying mum
To keep yourself protected.

For setting someone straight
Is often not what is expected,
And there are those who might just feel
A little disrespected.

So next time some amending
To another soul’s directed,
You might prefer to stop before
Your remedy’s rejected.

Not many can quite graciously
Admit, when they’ve reflected,
That maybe they’ve misspoken and
Will therefore stand corrected....
