White Manes

For the final time, the white manes sat at the edge of the sandbox.
Digging for ball and jack, a tin toy.
Perhaps a sun-shining nursery rhyme.
Bits and nibbles of innocents, the dance of time.
Now the white manes need to leave.
For the edges of a blackened universe
White manes.
