This is my companion
to the left of me.
Everlong by my side
in lifes travail
and heart to heart
in worlds apart.
This is my guardian
and my servant dearest
whatever his size.
This is my watcher
by the windowpane
foretelling the visitors
and mocking the postman
in his luminesce apparel.
This is my nights last seen face
and my mornings first pace.
This is my companion,
my dog.
Diaphonous veils luminesce our lagoon
where cerulean wavelets curl;
nacre skies cream with light
like an atmospheric pearl.
Early dawn is a lilt of breeze
gently pulsing across warm land,
sweet sound of a zephyr sighing
on the softly powdered strand:
an evanescent moment, serene and calm,
God's munificent depiction of a psalm.

Her every Golden strand of hair
reflects the sun upon the earth
surrounding us with greatest worth
is her beauty ever so rare
that it cannot truly be near
knowing I could not comprehend
this gift that only god could send
coming as if my heart to mend
together we'll so lovely blend
smile alone I hope she'll wear
in hopes to see her lying bare
and fill me with such earthly mirth
as we lay now so near the hearth
embraced in a luminesce stare
