a dying craft
its keel
and rudder
gone
laying waste in
vast
the need
for poetry

buzz inside
laying waste within;
If I had sewed their mouth shut?
Clean;
A soapy bar would be safe
never touching teeth;
Falsehoods breed
dirt.
You spark my thoughts,
flame my desires,
a passion laying waste to the page.
