Mindframe

My mind thinks what my heart feels
My mind speaks what my heart says
My mind and heart are inseparable
They play defense for each other
My mind won't let my heart get hurt or broken
And my heart won't let my mind get played or confused

Interlude 014 (Trinsic)

Intrinsic failing is all good and well.
But too much stargazing makes my heart swell.
Ruptured emotions in lieu of mistakes.
A failed romantic interlude and how my heart breaks.
Corners beneath perception.
Disgraced and dying introspection.

Poet

I don't have any expectations
what is it that turned your head?
was it all of the pictures?
or the words from my heart you read?

can you be the poet?
the one I've been searching for?
can you fill my heart with romance?
where others have failed before?

Premium Member Under a Rainbow

Sometimes in my sky
There's only rain
That falls in my heart
And downpours just on me!

Sometimes my bruised heart
Is so sad and so very blue,
My world is so completely void
Of any love and sunshine

But often enough
Right within my view
I push all the clouds away
And once again I see the sun

And a new rainbow facing me!

Ajar

How long ago did she lose her tears
honest tears of sadness or joy
a trusting heart lost for years
pretend emotions now her decoy
weeping heart captive and barred
concealed essence slowly clears
bound emotions begin to shard
now feeling her inner guide
showing her she should not fear
her trusting heart will open wide
when she finds her unshed tears

Heart season of speech....
the paranormal essence
sacred EQUINOX

Explanation of meaning: Poetic License has to do with the poet's right to
speak/write his/her heart any time, for it's paranormal essence is always in season.
The Sacred Heart in each of us is from where paranormal utterances come, being
our connection to our Creator. The Equinox- God's time of equal day or night!

Flawless Or Flaws

Flawless
Her skin shone with radiance
Peach and rose in perfect balance

Flawless as the diamond on her hand
A sparkling jewel on a gold band

A black heart rested within
Ominously jet, a flawless twin

Flaws
Pretty she was not, had many a flaw
Chubby cheeks which needed a thaw

Fingers hardened with hard work
Was a simple wife of the town clerk

A kind and golden heart within
Helped one and all with a happy grin

The Stars Anthem

Tears to stars
and fears repressed
golden night of lovers far-

Life to death and born of rain
storms wild beget the pain
wilderness dreams of raging sea
ever near a part of me-

Love and hate therein I live
chaotic heart free to give
dawns distress embrace the night
bound by fate eternal light-

Song of moon giveth heir to fire
mornings anthem to resonant pyre
ethereal heart dance with dusk
amber sins to sunlit musk-

Lower the Bar

I need to lower the bar
the measure I'm using is wrong
I look too deep inside
and quickly move along

it's not that I ask too much
romance and a love to hold
seeking one that is true
a heart that is made of gold

do you think there are any left?
someone who can rock my world
a kindred spirit that wants the same
and can make my heart unfurl

I need to lower the bar
the measure I'm using is wrong
I look too deep inside
and quickly move along
