Habit

Here you go again.
Antagonizing me.
Begging me to give in to you once more.
Influencing me with your charm.
There I go again...

Traped In a Dream

The cold mist on the grass
Nourishes innocent souls
As to carry them along without word
But influencing enough
To drift you into the
Sun.

I would much rather be a member of the minority capable of critical thinking,
as opposed to a member of the majority susceptible to easy influencing.

Light in the World

Dear Heavenly Father
May our lights shine brightly
No matter how big or small
We often overlook the significance of seemingly small lights
We are delighted to be chosen as a light in the world
Influencing others for Your glory

Glimpses of Ardor

The wave-
Crushing dreams
Swallowing hopes

The storm-
Influencing pain
Sleeting fear

Rushing anger
Twisting fate

The calm-
Momentary silence

Indications of ease
Glimpses of ardor…

To All My Friends and Lovers

whom are soley responsible,
for influencing me into the person i am today
for a decade of friendship
whose term is expired
the sad truth of everlasting solitude
reigns supreme, under the night's sky
the remarkable rememberance of
a past life
whereas we were one:
now seperate

The Soft Centre

Looking inside the mirror

Rambling thoughts
Reflection in a window
Standing still
Frozen in time
Is this me?
Shall I not
Be anything
So many information.
Are my views
Mine
Or are other people’s
Opinions
Influencing me?
Is there charnel
Inside
That sifts the many viewpoints.
Are nothing
My original thoughts.

The Wings of a Dove

The way you speak,
The way you smile,
Makes my emotions leak;
For a while.
The intensity of our glances,
Always influence my heart to do prances.
Your caressing words,
Influencing the birds,
That fly in the sky,
Where truancy lies.
The dominate passion,
Suiting your fashion.
Surrounding our love,
With the wings of a dove.

In the garden
with the population of a million
is the sun
in the center of the realm
the pedal crown
shines prestige
before its fellow flowers
the king lives
in a palace vase
taller than the others around it
displaying leadership and wisdom
influencing growth to its subjects
forever shall the king in its days
maintain the glory of the nation

Scars

I am connected to the cosmos, the sun, the moon and the stars
Neither its beauty nor darkness can hide the depth of my scars

Each one has its own story
An epoch of pain
Rolling like thunder
My soul washed away by the rain

The turbulant waxing and waning of emotions
The empty is my moon
Influencing me like tides and the oceans
Im no longer here, blown away like sand on a dune

True Marketing

I do not shout
I do not insist
I do not force
I do not fight the tide
I do not break minds or wills

I whisper
I suggest
I endorse
I paint a picture of an idea
I plant seeds in the minds of great people
I open the necessary channels of communication
I assist in action

The true world of marketing lives in the shadows
working, guiding, influencing and

changing the world

Power of Individuals

Queen Victoria ruled half of the world;
Michael Jackson wowed the world with his moon-walk;
Shakespeare's inspiration to poets is immortal;
Beethoven's music tastes like milkshake to the ears, even at present.

All these people, and many such others, have made history as individuals,
fascinating, influencing and dominating millions of souls. This reminds us that
the smallest ants cast long shadows.

Premium Member verbs are ready to jump into the story

verbs stacked themselves against a cabinet
each ready to jump into the story
influencing the writer in subtle ways
flitting and flying sent a butterfly
they were snapped up and used
jumping sent a kangaroo and a frog
croaking was thrilled to see these ideas
he had not been able to come up with anything
starving knew she did not have a chance today
the writer had eaten a six-egg omelet with cheese for lunch

The Weight of Influence

You must have a light heart
For the influence to start.
Focus on the hopes of today
With faith in Jesus and no delay.
The daily grace, love and peace
Brings smiles, blessings and release.

We were made to sing and soar!
Don't be earthbound, reach for more!
Influencing others to follow
God's power takes away the pithy shallow,
Leads you in joy with weight like gold,
Seriously, but flying in peace, young or old.

Poetic Silence, for Silent One

When poetic silence ,
spoke to me
through midnight violence,
it kept my restless heart calm~
as I was hypnotized in a trance,
waltzing sleeplessly
on an island so reckless,
The soothing petals in my garden
were now a scent of serenity,
I hear the calling of poetic royalty
in diamond dunes,
influencing me to question
the purity of my presence,
So I thank the stars for
bringing me back to reality

Premium Member My Doing Is Done

My Doing is Done By: Miracle Man 10/3/2018 My season is gone for doing things I treasure, And often I imagine my life as superfluous. Yet I continue, in this state, seeking (peace) pleasure, Knowing my only true peace still rests in Jesus. The footprint of time now rests on my being, Casting a shadow, influencing my each daily feat; Even now, though my days appear as fleeing, Physical death and judgment, I will not cheat.*

Parent

Parent

Teaching, caring, moulding,
Child rearing responsibilities.
Commencing at birth,
No expiration date.

Occupation of utmost importance,
Reaps what you sew.
Compensation minimal,
Blood, sweat and tears.

An influencing role model,
Nurturing, compassionate, loving.
Encourages potential and direction,
Protects from harm's way.

Proud, dependable, consistent,
Never abandoning.
Every child has a parent,
Is every parent a mom or dad?
