Incongruous
A ripple on the sea
could not possibly
be caused by me

too slight to be
such a force to that degree...

Ethos
XIII. Ethos

Despite that of which is rise.

In the face of what has fallen rise.

Despite those that are rise.

Celebrate that you have risen.

Despite the incongruous rise.

Now that you have believe that you will.

Dream not for they are fleeting.

Upon thy continence be joy.

If I Could Find the Words
If I could just tell of the cruel it'd hit,
instead of outbursts that fail to grip,
would heads really grasp... is it all gossip?
Forgotten history and nostalgia trips.

My thoughts once tangled up balls of string,
seem flawed, fall short, fail to alter things,
ostentatious false holds the force to win,
whilst my incongruous talk falters thin...

Saturday Night Hounds
They climbed
resuming the mongrel form,
The twelve.
A catcalling mob
burdened by sympathetic stimulants,
Procured from the neck.
Yippering yowls
break from a youth,
Torn from thick, incongruous lips.
As a pack
they leap onto the quivering metal,
Slender paws slapping on ice.
Ice all round;
leering...over bearing... ungracious ice
To aid their whimpering might....

Poppies
Unimaginable beauty: I found myself walking alone far removed from humanity in a large meadow overgrown with kaleidoscopic poppies: oranges, blues, crimsons and yellows each indiscriminately commingled in this meadow like an incongruous painting; yet, in my eyes, a masterpiece: A polychromatic blending of hues quivering in the breeze as I stood amidst the allure of their stupefying grandeur.

Loneliness
It is alone in a field devoid of comforting color.
Surrounded by a sea of incongruous behavior
choking life from sparse recollection.

Alone as to confirm existence beyond
the confines of natures ability to balance.

Rooted deeply,
resembles, nutrient poor soil failing to sustain;
panged by malnourishment of
interaction.

Alone destined to wither and finally, to succumb.
The only survivor, incongruous behavior.
Loneliness, alone, ever alone....

In Initio
I’ve been here since the beginning in some form or another. I’ve showered the earth with molten lava and quenched it with wind and sea. I grazed with dinosaurs and was eaten by their kind; Yet I outlived their demise. I emerged from the sea as Man executed the first murder the young earth had ever seen. His universal love and hate defined by incongruous beliefs. I am Truth, which is the distinction: endless beyond His own extinction.

Drawn into a war that was not our choice,
we’re compelled to play the cards as they fall,
for although we wish all speak in one voice,
if swords need to be drawn as of fate's call,
aligned with righteousness, we must stand tall.
Thus playing out our life role, as ordained,
following path of truth, our soul's unstained
but we yet wish it did not come to this,
since love in our heart is deeply ingrained,
thus in midst of battle, we effuse bliss.
