Whatever winds wind up
Within an earshot, it becomes
Tapped in our orbit
Wonders of the world all around
Wondering what it will be like
To be a cherished kind of sound...

While flinging to the wayside the valuable.

Eyes closed to the importance of veracity,
You belabor simplicity with objectivity denounced

When people in positions of power cannot be trusted,
It tells the tale of a corporation in trouble,
because thoughts are not consistent,
most have been incongruent,
setting rules and guidelines and then
renegotiating whenever their whimsical
thinking feels it is fine,
Most of the time the trustees of power
are towing the line,
with their diabolical games of cloak and dagger,
"cutting against each other"....

flicked off our shirt
reflex response

jarring earth life notes
incongruent with harmony
triggers involuntary aversion

within awakened cognition
we seek sacred geometry
as innate pull of our soul

thoughts and sense impulses
wax and wane like yonder moon
beseeching us to seek order in chaos

to this end we shift into silence
contoured by consciousness 
until identity drops away...

in as outer appearances do go,
behind banter lurk motives untoward,

just waiting to land a deadly death blow.
Weary of blood and gore, been here before,
we sift subterfuge and get to the core,
our call being, it’s not winner take all,
both sides must rejoice, seeking an encore,

Often, I feel incongruent
Pieces of me just don’t seem to match
Others can find me difficult to put together
My smile can cover an internal sneer
I must admit that I often try to hide my anger
I don’t want you to see the hurt inside
Anxiety is the uncomfortable veil that I wear
I feel exposed although I’m fully clothed
A disquieting truth lies behind these closed doors
My denial is secured by denial
I pretend I’m not a pretender....
