The high priests have spoken
we were thrilled
when they said we could sleep
through.
They knew we were tired,
that we were natural-born agitators
given to independent incivility.
It was good to relax,
to completely numb the heart-sickness;

and so to bed

A nice dress,

To give someone’s finger,

Her sparkling eyes,
As helio,
Hedge laying,
Impatiently,
Impassion of love.

Time has incivility,
Inception, incessant,
Incitation, lucid,
To lower one’s eyes,
A heart broken tone arises....

Finding "HOME" has many connotaions
to people,
For some, it is a church and a steeple,
A loved one or serenity of mind,
For others, it is just finding a place in the universe that is kind,
free of judgement amd incivility,

"Home" is anywhere the heart, and soul has the ability

there's a vastness of redress 
and an obvious instability

bodies and anti-bodies
in constant fight for dominion
decades, in fact, many centuries
enforcing perceived God's opinion

crossing oceans, crossing hearts
cross ways and walks and words
crossly notion to tear it apart
peace seems abstract, and absurd

but no matter the toll and cost
men draw a line, then blithely cross
