False Pride

Peacocks have feathers that delight,
It is the most glorious sight.
To see this magnificent array,
Of a Peacocks plumage on display.

The peacock is full of pride,
This fact the peacock does not try to hide,
He struts with an air of superiority,
As he knows, he is in the minority

The peahen does not care a jot,
She is satisfied with her lot
If it weren't for this plain peahen,
We would never see another peacock again.
