Normally I'M Wrong
Wonder if I'll do something right, today
Normally I'm wrong, as wifey will say
More than 50 percent
But in any event
I'm encouraged that it's not 90 percent each day...

In Any Event
I’m surmounted by
age-old anxiety,
and bright dreams of
laying under a stone
to mark my place among
people on every side of me,
worm-eaten and absolutely alone.
I move through the days
in chains of nostalgic tragedy,
with new reasons to bury
beneath the old oaks
with wounded flesh and
all of the things that madden me,
a heavy heart, and a vessel
that has to go....

3 Things
In any moment with any decision,
one can only do one of only 3 things.
The best thing one can do is the right thing.
The next best thing one can do is the wrong thing.
The worst thing one can do is nothing.
I think someone else said that, but I may be paraphrasing,
so would the above be considered me plageurizing?
I think the above was said by one of my Presidents?
In any event, it makes lots of sense....

You and Your Clone
How would you know if you were a clone?
Would you feel by yourself, even when not alone?
In the moments of the day when silence is there.,
Does it make you sense the glare of somebody's stare?
Could there be a connection between you and your clone?
Maybe it's you who were copied like a statue of stone?
In any event if one day you receive a mysterious call,
Don't be surprised if you hear your voice, then stumble and fall....

Apathy
we encounter a neighbour
who suffering from delusional dementia
he mumbles and stumbles in delirium
we pause awhile to assist
yet we know his disability is permanent
so apart from informing his kith and kin
who in any event are apathetic
there is nothing we really do
all around we see suffering and decay
something within us too is dying
or perhaps it’s already dead
as we become indifferent
to tremors in the void...

Arjuna Meets Krishna - Repost
On the edge
Slightly out of vision
Chaos
No, thank you
I’ll take my social order
On rye
Hold the onions
Hey, I wanted rye
Every day reminds us
Untidy chaos intervenes
Deny it and go mad
Face it and imagine war
To be involved in life is to be involved in battle
There is no escape
Cave dwelling aesthetics are fools
Thus sings the auspicious one
Learn to struggle
Honorably
Graciously
Nobly
It’s not about the win
Which, in any event, is
Ultimately
Futile....

My Grandmother and My Dad
My grandmother was booked to cruise on the Titanic
but she canceled suddenly,
and my father while serving in the military
was shot in the back by the enemy,
but a can of peaches in his backpack took the bullet
and saved his life most likely.
Was it divine intervention or were they both just simply lucky?
In any event I find both events to be extremely spooky.
Had either one of them died, I would have never come to be.
I love and miss both of you. Rest Peacefully....

Tell-Tell Tuesday
Wow, you survived Moody Monday, you were flying a bit blind. Now it's Tuesday you start to see the tell-tell signs and you can make a good guess of how you will handle the rest, badly or with finesse.
Look at the good leave the bad behind, your confidence you will find, then, you unwind. Be objective it's very effective. Whether you take or give it's your prerogative. In any event try not to resent and you can about peep the rest of the way on Tell-Tell Tuesday.
Have a very Blessed Day....
