Implication
the world always seems to wait
just a breath away
like the best parts
are lurking
silent
beneath some veil
of these everyday components
& if you can't keep your voice
from sounding a little bitter,
a little empty
they shouldn't have to ask why...

I’ve been there done that
The words flow so easily
Lips barely moving
But the eyes start to dance
Try to recall beginnings

I’ve been there done that
Words of both release and grasp
A quiet searching
With noisy implication
As to both past and future...

Interpretation
INTERPRETATION
The clouds darken my mind for your interpretation
The universes brighten our souls for their implication
There is nothing can be replaced for everything of realization
Anything can become stunning suffocation

An Effect Without a Cause
An effect without a cause
A bolting into being
Is anathema to reason
A delirium or dream

Proximate – and ultimate
Phenomena exclaim
There is one rule inviolate -
Determinism reigns

The implication staggers -
Our will constrained, unfree
Yet if this be so
How can reason be?...

Lawyers
LLB is primary condition
Advocates joining Bar Association
Wisdom and wittiness marks good litigation
Years of experience deepen skills in profession
Execution of duty with sincere participation
Respectful to court but no fearful implication
Serving and protecting justice is main intention...

Forked Tongues
Not lying outright
is far from the truth
Hesitance vacuous
barren of fruit

What never gets said
deceitfulness hides
Stalking and preying
while buried inside

The pulpit a soapbox
 lectern a mask
Pontification
deceptions bombast

Wittingly fervent
the devil subverts
False implication
—the ultimate hurt

(Dreamsleep: February, 2023)...

To Leave a Lover, To Leave a Drug
To open up the sky
To dig up abandoned graves
The touch of silk replaced by steel
And forgive the dramatic implication
But Im getting out
Forgetting faces
Ignoring the nameless
Avoiding these places
Washed away to scrape my flesh
Replace the numb with burn
Suffer the fright
Set me on fire
But Im losing you
Forgiving the time
Insisting on feeling
Cant be mine...

She and I
Jon Bellion and the dragons
A perfect duet
For the long night
Soon to be nought

The silhouette of two figures
Walking down the empty road
As wind and darkness danced.
In the absence of moonlight

Man and woman created he them
As both sat in the garden
Not Eden as it was without hazard
An action without implication

Alone
Not alone
Are not alone?
They are not alone....

Solitude
Most gratitude to solitude
A time of self discovery,
Where I challenge the me of yesterday
On sight of a bright morrow.
Count me blessed in solitude
A moment of self worth,
Where I invite me altogether
To fill my separate needs.
I call it a party of solitude
Where I dine on implication
And fill my cup with significance.
Now I must confess,
There could be no better host,
Nor a more intriguing guest....

The Rose
A beauty all its own
No other can compare
A flower unlike others
Could anything be so rare.

At birth a tiny bud
Unfolding each new day
Revealing its beauty slowly
For too soon it will decay.

Petals as soft as velvet
Thorns to prick your skin
A scent unlike any other
A mystery lies within.

Love the implication
When a rose you do receive
The beauty, scent and mystery
Like love we wish to cleave....

Freedom Is

What we all desire
Scripture writers and
Constitution writers
Writers of many stripes
They all know well
To play with this word
In their compositions..
Their implication is
(Those many writers)
We need their advice
To reach that freedom
Of which they speak..
And apparently many do
Need those pointers..until
A sudden recognition
Out of Simplicity says
I am Free now...

Freedom Is
And ever has been......

No Chance
No chance, so died the seed
of love in germination, and did
not grow to be,
failed and withered on the vine;
my aching heart must bleed
of spectral laceration, and bid
the tears fall free
for what was almost mine.

No chance to say goodbye,
only rapid termination, and plough
my essence deep,
furrows burning cold and dead;
for who or what I cry
had a life by implication, and now
the dreams of sleep
are all I have to hold instead....

Rings
What happens to rings?

Some of the are trashy made for decorations
Other rings are made off gold and diamonds
And have a serious implication.
I had a ring once but threw it away made
I feel hemmed in dislike the idea of
Belonging to someone, even in matters of love.
Still, rings keep circulating from finger
To finger, an endless dance of commitment
That didn’t stand the test of time.
The bond between us is our hearts unity
Which only death can erase....

Trial
Fragile interpretation of deny
contemporary logic meets my eye
so grace in implication is the lie,
the harried, hurried knowledge ~ caught's apply!

So quietly in my statement's opening ply
am I defendant, or the plaintiff's cry.
Tis ignorance of worth, the jury's why
nor crime unsolvable could meet this ply!

Experience' motivation teaches try,
the risk behavior, pragmatism's sky
and looking upward, onward thus complies
affiliation's spiral ~ downward dies!...

The Loss of Nene
the loss of Nene

Forever is an awesome word we use without
realize the implication of the verb.
A friend of mine is dead.
I will not see him again in my lifetime I say this
to avoid saying forever.
Summer and winter will pass
snow-topped mountains will remain, but my friend
will eternally be dead.
Ashes in an urn are lightweight
and has little to do with the man I knew.
He is an abstraction
like the dust in the road,
to say goodbye is useless
he is beyond the known....
