It is All Hallows Eve
The night of all souls
Samhain Day
When the wiccans wail
At the witching hour
When the Demons walk
Souls will be taken
In the black of night
Form:
Make not a wish on this night of lore, for powers roam and spirits soar,
Monsters sleeping under your bed, waiting for you to show your head
Keep a candle burning on your window sill and hope and pray that the wind is still
For on this night , “All Hallow’s Eve”
All things scary will now be seen!!
Form:
Horrible goblins and ghouls abound
All of them making a shrieking sound
Living dead are out tonight
Leading humans to quake with fright
Onward they creep these hounds of hell
Wily demons in darkness dwell
Ever gaining on human prey
Each one stalking till light of day
Needing human flesh to feed
Now they move with ghastly speed
Into the night they crawl and hiss
Growing close to that dark abyss
Humans watch your step indeed
Tonight's the night you must take heed
The equinox is days away,
the only day that's equal,
both night and day-
get a say.
It's social anarchism-
on a universal scale.
perpetuated by a mysterious veil,
that society ignores completely.
- I found it comical when I thought about how the universe has two days dedicated to
appeasing both day and night and equalizing the seasons, when most humans can't stop
squabbling over money for an hour.
Here's praying for humanity's equinox....whenever that may happen or if...
