As Hades steals my Soul to die
Prometheus, who gave us fire,
Apollo and his golden Lyre,
Hera and her jealous ire,
And Zeus, who ignores my cries!

the once loquacious Echo
could now recall only
the last shreds of
someone else's spoken words.

God Winter rages uncheck’d

Wife Hera scolds day and night
Athena shivers a fright
A search is begun
Have you seen spring anyone
And at last he’s found
Sleeping in some Shangri La
A land of eternal sun
