Premium Member Woodland Prism
Spring harkens the sun
Kaleidoscope of colors
harmoniously dance
Enchanting the woodland glow
An explosion of prisms pool.

delicate and pretty
lacy with ribbons
shy sky blue orbs
hastily look away

she is as lovely as the sea
and probably twice as dangerous
he cannot take his eyes off her
bonnet curls are beautiful, probably soft
love harkens...

'Neath a banner wrought in darkness,
After eave has fallen nigh,
The chosen moment harkens,
To the insect's lullaby;

The cars abide in flight,
Like when clouds amount the sky;
I've imbibed the type of night:
A stillness whispered into sigh –...

Premium Member It Happened On a Misty Morning- Collaboration
Wettened by the morning dew
Closely spaced where rows of roses grew
Footprints stained the cobblestone
Where my love and I had walked, alone

Picturing us hand in hand
Walking slowly, stopping just to stand
Sharing love with our sweet kiss
Harkens back fond memories of bliss...

Premium Member Best Wishes
Vivid colors light up the night sky
Embers of promise whispering why
Must I find a dream?

Sweet insight harkens my flight
As I work to make the world bright
Will I wear a smile?

Soft memories encourage my heart
Reminding me just where I may start
Can I inspire a wish?

Fearing the Storm We Hereafter
Fearing the storm we hereafter
Have sadly adjourned;
For the tapestry and
It's symphonies directed to me in three's,
I cannot abstain the thought,
It's touch
Nor it's feel.
Caress it with my adamant hands it harkens back
An age,
Where the mind was conjuring secrets with it's brothers
and it's sisters,
Friends and foes,
Off the glow and it's been undone,
Off-shore 'this where it lays below....

Thermals of Yellowstone
Snow does not win victory at Hell’s door,
It transforms to screaming steam,
rising above the piled snowflakes.

Lowly bacteria feed on the heat.
The shimmering water stained,
as colored glass in a cathedral.

A restless beauty reigns imminent,
with destruction a growing sister,
certain to spoil a glorious landscape.

A tumble beneath the inviting waters,
harkens instant reincarnation,
and a meeting with a vast universe....

Autumn - Monotercetniner
Autumn's call,
as leaves fall,
harkens cold winter's pall.

Autumn burns,
a leaf turns;
its rest it earns.

Autumn greets
old Winter's treats;
white snowfall in sheets.

Autumn sighs
at summer's demise,
heralds the geese's cries.

Autumn wakes;
arrival of snowflakes;
slushy mess it makes.

Autumn glowers,
awaiting snow's showers
and missing summer's flowers.

Autumn skies
are a prize,
as cold snow plies....

My Searching Begins
The house is now quiet,
the children have gone

My beard they’ve left ruffled,
as memories grow long

With trains and dolls scattered,
where last they played

Their love remains buried,
inside of the maze

The cupola harkens,
a last candle there burns

As the attic sits waiting
for the toys to return

The old house is silent,
but deep from within

Their laughter still hides
—and my searching begins

(Thanksgiving: November, 2016)...

My Reason
Illuminating incandescent aura
A shining star, so far above the rest
I hold her near, forever, to adore her
While lying here; my head upon her breast
The reigning queen, ruling with a passion
Her fires rage, so deeper than her soul
She offers me, so evenly it’s rationed
A love that burns, never in control
When… the light flickers then to darkness
As shadows move as spies, upon the wall
I go to her, with eagerness she harkens
For my life, is to answer every call...
