April Showers
April showers here
trees and plants having a drink
frogs singing their songs
ready to give forth their thanks...

Suicidal Dream
Found hanging in her cell
from a noose made of teeth
and hair and bone

Blood red wine drips
from veins down arms
loving arteries give forth

Rusty bridge hangs in mist
creaking with weight of time
eyelids closed, sublime

Cranes etch their outline
on the greyest horizon
strong and fatherly still...

Premium Member Lemons and Life
Lemons add flavor to sauces and stews
Also to meringue and cool Mountain Dew
Lemons can be served sour or sweet
Both of which can be an awesome treat

Sometimes in life lemons we are served
Can we turn it to lemon preserves?
Lemons need squeezing to give forth their best
Life needs to squeeze us so we're fit for our rest...

Even Still
Although the night is black, the sky is still blue.
A blanket of fog covers the late evening sky; above it, night light from the moon and stars still shines.
When a new day begins dressed in dark clouds; even still, the sun rises along with it to give forth its light.
As I ponder all of the above.... I wonder

Be and Be
Be the first to lead
First to land and last to leave
Give forth fruit and seed
At night you doubt; now you believe
Morning came, and you were freed.

Be the lost to the world
Last to wound and first to breathe
Tugged, drawn and hurled
At junction you ask: answer with you
Healing came, now you stand tall.

Be the mighty,
Never in arms and answer the call
Listening for the plea, look... it is done
At silence you baulk; stillness now
Stillness in which to know....

One and the Same
Enveloped by the fire of Love, I must give forth my blazing heat.
Expansion burns within as I am tempted to retreat.
My availability as a transcendent soul
is pertinent for the good of the whole.
Flinch I will not
in this initiation process.
I stand strong with valor and courage
as I complete the bridge
between experience and purpose.
I am the guard and constructor,
sealing division in my divine structure.
I arise as the flame,
destroyer and creator,
one and the same....

Before the river melds itself with sea, it glistens as a rippling mountain stream and starts its course with purest quality. Before the river melds itself with sea, it runs along, fulfilling destiny. Our course is also brief; give forth your beam! Before the river melds itself with sea, it glistens as a rippling mountain stream.
