Gemma

It's Dark.
The heat of the day lingers through the night.
I'm lost in this old, creaky house.
I want time to stop.
The thought of losing her keeps me from ending this day with rest.
I think of you.
The still frames of your beautiful soul flash through my mind,
keeping me sane, 
safe from the madness creeping over me.
