Sailing o’er the Solway’s foam
And the laughter in her tripping streams

Snow
Abundance bone chilling, defrosting everything, fells great herbaceousness, icebound January kills lawns made nearly opaque, quelling riotous snow. Toppling under volatile winds xylocopa yearns zealously

Cotton Candy Clouds
Cotton candy clouds

Crossed an azure sky,

Me, I leant against a wall

And watched them passing by.

High above the fells they were,

Adrift upon a sea.

They sailed the breeze, as gossamer

Towards their destiny....

Ghostly Sentinels
I sat upon a weathered rock

And looked across the fells,

Emerging from the morning cloud

Like ghostly sentinels.

The rising sun revealing all

In perfect clarity,

A wonderland of serried peaks

Appeared in front of me....

Delightfully dimpled, seductively swayed

Relief
As the blood ran down his arm he gave a great sigh.
Relief came at the slice of the wrist.
For so long he felt tried, so tried of the bull*****of the world.
So tried of his life.
But now he Fells nothing.

But his family feels sorrow....

Spellbound
When first seen a seed is planted,

Now there they are, in your mind.

For these fells they call to you,

"Come then, see what you will find."

Come we do, and up we climb

Way up to their lofty heights.

And there, spellbound by utter beauty,

We marvel at the sights....

Lolling About
Lolling about, down by the lake

Just watching the clouds scudding by.

Surrounded by fells, a vision of heaven,

There is no one as happy as I.

I hear little waves lapping the shore,

With hypnotic rhythm, they sing.

In somnolent bliss I happily drift,

Lost in the mood that they bring....

Healing
How can stars be there?
I am blind in slush,flinched
From the vagrant wind
Wafting the fog's kiss
To wiz tree down the ravine
Tucked in by the fells
Where kinda moon drops
Souse eerie pebbledashed face
Of me to recoup.

Unknown
She walks
On
the
Dark
sidewalk

And she trips
Falls
Face
First

She fells
Blood
Anguish
Sorrow

She gets up
and feels
her way

into the Unknown

She feels what it is like
to go to combat
where
the soilders play

She does
Not know
One day
A draft
Will take her to
The Unknown...

Premium Member Love Daylight and Colour
Falling shades and bolder tones,
now are wreathed
across the glen and over the fells,
exposed rocks show like earths bones
currents of subtle air glow,
 host to an ultra-violet dispersal
as iridescent colours inflow,
drawings, from a well of inspiration
my God alone does know.

Mostly bluebells
in dells and fells
that springtime tells
with her soft bells.

In my ears' shells
you say "Bluebells..."
and my tear wells
by fells and dells.

Women
I like being a woman in a men s world.
         The world think that.
the woman is weak and wan,
         with no strength.
What an illogic logic,
it seems like it is a creep and cheap world.
How would they know that,
how it fells being bleeding five days every month
and still, they think
    we have no strength..........

Grey Sentinels
All embracing swirling cloud

Below a leaden sky.

A fleeting glimpse of hidden fells,

Shadows, reaching high.

Towering grey sentinels,

Guardians of the land.

In the cloud, and glowering gloom

Unerringly they stand.

Oh but when revealed to us

Beneath a cobalt sky,

Ne'er has such beauty fell

Before a mortal eye....

Calling
I heard the call from o'er the hills,

Often, do I hear it still.

Come it calls, come and climb

Come unto a place sublime.

Walk amongst a land of dreams

Refresh your soul by mountain streams.

Walk above the clouds and there,

Breathe the purest mountain air.

Come then, let your spirit fly

Walk the fells, touch the sky....

Days of Sun and Azure Skies
Days of sun and azure skies
Blissful hours out on the fell.
Boundless joy, heading high
As nature casts her magic spell.

Oh such beauty there I saw,
Mighty fells, serried peaks.
How I want for nothing more,
My soul, it heard the mountains speak.

Atop the fell, free as a bird
The world now far below my feet.
Filled with awe, my spirit stirred
Was ever there a land so sweet....

Premium Member Over the Under
Once I had it all
Told this to my ma
As she let down her parasol
Under the rains the waters fell
Torrential buckets of rain waters
drops,
 drops,
drips,
 drops pouring down rain falls
Floods the city towns
Covered yet empty rain clouds
falls,
 fells,
falls, falling down from the heavens
down
unto the ground
Over the under

My Regal Seat
I stood upon a mountain tall,
Feeling like the lord of all.
My kingdom spread beneath my feet,
Ruling from my mighty seat.

Then just for the briefest time
I imagined that these fells were mine.
That I could stay and never go
How I wished it could be so.

It is always with a heavy heart
When reluctantly, I must depart
I loathe to leave my regal seat,
Up here at three thousand feet....

The Heart Breaking Hardships That Challenge Us All
A new genus of poetry I shall pen
that shows the splendors of life, death, and rebirth,
the heart breaking hardships that challenge us all.
Where the Gods were born, there were born the titans,
the giants larger than us which we must duel,
for craven it is to fight those weaker than us,
but much glory in becoming giant slayers,
after the example of Thor the mighty,
who fells the thurses with his hammer Mjolnir....

A Sunday Walk
On Sunday we walked upon the fells

Down in the valley they rang church bells,

Calling forth the flock to pray

And cheering us on our way.

We may not be sat on pews,

But look upon God given views.

A pastor's sermon we may miss

But know the lord created this.

How otherwise could there be,

These mountains, of such majesty.

Before this glory, here we stand

Created surely, by his hand....

One day he say it's over
your heart fells like it's bleeding
your mind is thinking of all the good times
  your eyes fill with tears
has you cry over the one you love
the one you thought would be there forever
you learn how it feels to have a broken heart
you learn how it fells to be in love
an when it is over you tell yourself Iam in love...
