What they really want is to play fetch

I must now write a limerick;
Those dogs lined up is such a trick,
It's just a feint
To make me faint
So they can nick my walking stick!

A Sword Word

To slash and parry your blade
And into the battle you wade
Feint, strike and advance
Though you may death chance
Your foe will still say: Well played!

Mister Lucky

A professional wrestler of gators
Tried his luck as a restaurant waiter
   He'd feint and he'd juke
   Many patrons puked
Seafood business surprisingly cratered

Not Give Up

The Second wind
Run and yet not weary
Walking and not feint
One more day
One more night
Eat
Sleep
Awake
Repeat
One more day
One more night
Eat Sleep Awake
Repeat

After Mental Flight

Pink clouds with feint zigzag veins
craft a stunning desert maid’s
muse in mirror swivel guise
as she pondered in set pose
how welkin palettes loiter
when a tense eerie inkling
sighs “I’m this windblown notion”

Feasts on our feint hopes

Odd Raptor

Though a unique bird in the regular flock,
I flew and fell at every block.
Sky is the pinnacle of my juvenile dreams.
The one I fear, will soon feint in flames.
Watched as my bloods conquered the night.
soaring to touch the pitch black sky.
Hope is waning as I end the verse.
But my wings won't concede till I mount the hearse.

Love

Night drifts along with dreams and what they mean Warm arms to hold when thoughts run cold finding near a love so dear to comfort in the fright and the fight til morning's light a task at hand for not the feint nor fear of heart for unlike the lust you can always trust Love

Moonlight Shadows

The moonlight casts feint ghostly shadows
In the graveyard of All Hallows.
The clock strikes twelve high in the tower
And by the headstone stands a flower –
It’s Nature’s tribute and a sign :
These shades of John and Caroline
Who haunt this moonlit churchyard now,
Still faithful to their marriage vow,
Walk hand in hand eternally,
Forgotten by their family.

Harken To Halcyon Ways

So a feint hope seeps through,
Though she won't wait.
And I am taken aback.
Sit, watching the entrancing eyes
Reflect an odd transcient light.

Well now I slowly grow
Feel gradually more old.
Quiet musings, once ventured
I cannot reclaim.
So I look down upon skin.

Let desire becomes licit.
Let avarice reach out.
Consume, enjoy.
All in unseemly yearning.
We are all awful and I'm complicit.

Empty (Lyrical Ballad)

The flame that I once held
The one that shone bright
Within the ground will meld
On this merciless cold night

The empty night
Will flood with rain
Tonight I fight
Just to stay sane

Dimensions of pain
Will fill the sky
Within this rain
Hear my feint cry

The mistress will fade
The skies will cry
Diamond to jade
Ambition to die

Within that lost soul
Resides a key
Within her
I find me

By the Fire

Waiting for your words.

Searching for similarities.

Sameness, connection.

Feeling it unfold inside me, welcoming it.

Warmed by the heat of your fire.

Trading secrets, laughing.

A gentle hand, and then another, and another.

Feint breath on skin, the whispered caress of lips.

Eyes, mouth, neck, curves, eyes again.

Together, like we had never been apart.

Wanting never to be again.

En Garde Pret Allez

I hold my sword in my hand.
Wield it with skill and precision.
Watching my opponents.
Knowing when to advance,
Lunge.
Slight Attaque au fer to start.
Parry.
Waiting for that opening.
Passe.
Passbackwards.
Parlee.
Position is everything.
Knows well.
 passbackwards.
Feint.
There lunge, in vein.
With quick step, yielding parry.
Prise de fer.
Coupe.
Under the intellect of
My pen.
My sword.
Touché.

Hidden, But Not Secret

The sweet sound of a warm fire and the embrace from a blanket of stars opens your eyes. Motionless, but moving in every way is the feeling. A howl in the distance and cool breezes coming and going leave the tree's whistling. Thoughts are not allowed, only experience. Feint sounds of victory are heard as the winged, god-like creatures disappear. Few will come and stay, but many will go on day to day with no knowledge of the mere existence.

Spider's Purse

a dizain

Admire her casting, lines of silky floss;
survey as artist drafts her masterpiece.
Enclosing space invisibly across,
then single-handedly, she will increase
the center parts to form unseen valise.
A purse of unsuspected, vicious taint -
its straps in hand, she naps - a wily feint.
Artistic beauty flows, but will soon ebb,
when tender insects clutter her restraint.
Artiste awakes to wealth within her web.

Brahma Ballet

To a Bullfighter & a Brahma
All the arena is a stage
Each tap & twist leaves them surprised
As the crowd sits mesmerized

In baggy, tattered pants & paint
With athletic grace to the left he’ll feint
Taking the lead in a dangerous dance
Knowing he’s a cowboy’s only chance

This Brahma ballet is danced every night
Amidst the dust, the noise & the arena lights
He’ll keep on dancing this Brahma ballet
It will be his calling until his dying day

Reset

Reset.

Still, holding on to vocals
borne on fresh sheets-
feint and margin carry-all
bookkeeps repeats...

Blue veins run straight across,
underpin where I melt
my heart in cold fear's loss,
dip slips of tongue dealt
in chock - a - block
female thoughts - my fondue's
hothead take stock-
be mindful to subdue.

New thoughts come to her
playful - bell jar
film noir stirs up, burns up, blurs
life's old memoirs.

Mask

Oh such a elegant mask
so colorful and catchy
Everyone is wearing it
Some hidden behind it
Some create illusion with it

Some protect themselves with it
Some gain with it
Some lose with it
Some feint with it

Some look attractive with it
Some seems detestable with it
But remember It’s just a deceiving mask

I am curious about the face behind it
Sometimes I try to peek through
in faint hope of finding the trace of
their innocent smile or that evil smirk

Deception

Fog creeps over me
like an over grown vine.
With a suffocating strength.
I am lost wondering aimlessly
in my minds imagination.
Shapes of ghostly memories
sweep past with startling clarity.
Then in the distance a feint light
beacons to my eyes.
Closer and closer,
it draws all concentration
until its too late.
There you are burning brightly
through the murky darkness.
The tears come unbidden but
within the blink of my damp eyes
you have past behind me once again.
