Frozen feelers hands on wheel
The sidewalk bones tell time sharp
Red-brick lawyers again
Yet cells evaporate swift
Cigarettes like mandalas...

Trump Was Never Discrete
Trump Was Never Discrete
Did find Trump was never discrete;
No one was there for him to meet;
Sent out feelers;
Only Steelers;
Dead not buried yet nice and neat.

Water Is Alive
I have been speaking to a glass of water.
I don’t expect it to talk back,
yet, slowly,
water is pushing through the glass,
invisible feelers probing.
Today, while watching,
I opened my mouth like a fish;
I think it’s trying to Skype....

The Feelers and the Curb
There once was a car with feelers
Feeling all the curbs
This sound of scratching
Would get on your nerves
Now cars have lost their feelers
Giving it up to computer nerds
They can park by themselves
With no worries about hitting the curb...

Poetry Steelers
Poetry Steelers
Leaving for few days not very much;
Won't thrill to poems and their touch;
Am throwing out some poetry feelers;
My poems are bad so are no stealers
Everyone of my poems has a glutch.
Glutch is a glitch no one likes very much....

Feelers

in motion

dreams,
wanders
high&low
in rows,
in angles
with gestures
of tangled
foliage
silver threads

become
rooted
then
totally belong...

Reaching out to God
feelers extend from the heart
reaching out toward kinetic energy
an energy that emanates distant in the universe
far and free from terrestial vibes
feelers striving to link in to its celestial harmony

Be Encouraged-
~Be encouraged
no fear
no one
Courage be something
Nothing can defeat you
When you're in the Lord
God is faithful
You to need to be faithful
Keep your feelers on,
be on guard
and stand firm in the faith
Stand in God's Amazing Grace
... be courageous~

Butterfly Kisses
A tiny little butterfly
flutters by,
I can see a twinkle
in it's eye.
He flutters away
then back again,
All the while I wonder
where he's been.
His fluttering wings
tease me so.
Then he lands gently
On my nose.
His little feelers
tickle my cheecks.
I wonder what
This little guy seeks.
This encounter
I can't dismiss.
I think it was
a butterfly kiss....

Time Stands Still
Resting on the water's edge
of a stone birdbath,
its orange feelers curl
outward like tiny
telegraph coils - transmit schisms
I witness the microscopic
lapping of an insect
Not a dragonfly
perhaps a wasp,
abdomen pumping
like a heart beat between
clear shining wings
A seed falls, a flash of light
it disappears upon a
nearby twig leaving
reflections of ripples....

Deadly Silence
Your deadly silence persists in wounding me
Its pierce gets louder, more deafening each day
Trying to honour your request to be 'just friends'
Is a futile attempt in every which way
Though my mind may be mislead by the challenge
My heart remains steadfast, in no way on board
Profound feelers like me, we cannot be tricked
By the blade of a double-edged sword

Mood of the Time
Proof of the pudding for all arts—
Man being narcissist at heart,
Looks for some reflecting mirrors
That feed him with some fond feelers.
A poet too seems not apart,
His pen if plays, plays a small part.
In need of feedback from readers,
Sought with a surfeit of prayers,
For, there are more writers
It seems than are readers.

Deep Listening
Pull up a chair, be beautiful,
I’m not old in your mind; you are young in mine.
We are just under the surface of our affectations,
we relate, assimilate.
Our thoughts will grow feelers long enough to
actually feel.
Show me your life in this moment,
and I will show you mine.
We will print our dreams out,
publish ourselves.
We need that kind of image-making,
need this mutual exchange,
so that we may see clearly,
one luminous vision....

Storm Cloud Pat
the second Pat walks into the room
I sense the cloud that is over her head
It is gray, gloomy, full of grouse and gripes
She does not have to open her mouth
for me to recognize it is there
a storm ready to burst open
flooding the room with negativity
trying to flush away all laughter and mirth
I run from the room the second I see her
My feelers on “ready alert”
flight or fight popping in and out of my brain
I know Pat, I used to live with her....

Waiting For You
Waiting for you
Is listening to the tap dripping
Into a sink full of cold dishwater
Waiting for you
Is watching a cockroach
Cautiously poking its feelers
Out from under the fridge
Waiting for you
Is feeling a cold pain in my fingers
And a hot pain in the small of my back
Waiting for you
Tastes like an aluminium spoon
And smells like a damp rotting floor mop
Waiting for you
Seems never to stop
Waiting for you
Is
Unpleasant.
