Premium Member I Avoid Exaggerators
Another farfetched story from Helen Louise
Bizarre, fantastique, grotesque if you please
Eccentric and strange, decidedly queer
I ran out screaming, for embellishers I fear...

Terrorism
Terrorism,I venerate your abject cowardice
Preying on amiable,zealous souls' innocence
Your farfetched,timorous scheme to hide
Among aborigines and by pugnacious animosity abide....

Premium Member Reunion Stories on TV
Some people easily eradicate their past
When I hear of it, it makes me gasp
How can you never see a son or daughter?
Sometimes six thousand miles away across deep water.
TV happily-ever-after reunion stories seem farfetched to me
Unbelievable amounts of forgiveness on TV...

Dreary Drip
As I lay here it drips
I hear it as it hits
Everything is grey
The clouds they never fade

The sun has been gone
It seems to have moved along
Although I know thats farfetched
For so long I've been a wreck

I ponder of losing it all
I know I should stop that talk
I wonder if I'll be homeless
There's nothing more I can suggest...

The Last Breath
This contorted shell has lost its gleam
My health is paring from a grim disease;
The Evils i pulled to ground my fame
have nibbled my soul piece by piece;
Jealousy had rooted to this lifeless heart
which no gold or silver could ever suffice;
This tunnel is ending and there's no light in sight
For me, its a farfetched dream to rest in peace......

Premium Member I Have To Go By My Own Ideas
Everyone’s ideas are marvelous
for them
and maybe for thousands of others
but as for me
I have to go by my own ideas

Mine might be farfetched and semi- ridiculous,
but they come from my heart, my soul, and my confidence.
These three have never steered me wrong.

But they are incredulous!
Exactly!

They are outlandish!
I know.

There is a one in a million chance they will work.
I nod. “There is a chance then.”...

Soul Watcher
I watch these Souls as they wander
   You can see the ones that are lost
Their village of stone has no feeling
    Cold as the night it lives under
Oppurtunities are few and farfetched
  For those who know not their way
Wanting only to make it easier
   And great is the price that they pay

These streets are filled with Dreamers
    Some fall and some grow wings
While others sway
In the lime light decay
Of a brokenhearted being.....

Premium Member There Should Be a Droit Des Gens
I think there should be a “droit des gens” concerning
stealing children from desperate poor people seeking asylum
locking them in cages, raping them, and losing them.
What is next? a reimplementation of “droit du seigneur?”
less farfetched now than ever before.

Droit des gens: French for International Law
Droit du seigneur: French for the right of the acting czar to bed
                                  virgins of his country the night before their weddings....

Premium Member wishing they had listened to mitch willy
relatives said Mitch’s ideas were preposterously silly
Nonsensical I heard, about my cousin Mitch Willy
He was always entertaining though, a clever sounding cuss.
Ended up writing computer systems; now richer than most of us.

We can’t believe others believed in him, the relatives said.
He seemed crazy to us, farfetched, foolish, fantasy-fed.
But corporations ran with his ideas, and it made them all rich.
Now my naysaying relatives wish they had listened to Mitch....

Premium Member Stay Tenacious
Dreams are all I have but they’re all I need
in a world amplifying every small doubt;
Call me relentless, but I will succeed,
try but they cannot suffocate my shout;

My thoughts may come off farfetched,
to me they are more than attainable;
Behind my eyes perfectly sketched,
I always throw every card on the table;

What’s inside of me has no limit,
Blessed with the ability to fantasize;
I am bold enough to go and begin it;
Stay tenacious and wishes materialize....
