Dragonflies Wishes ©

Dragonflies set in my yard
I feel doubly blessed by that
With patented fly-byes
They magically anoint
Me in faery dust...

Premium Member It's a Bear
Bear’s certain
it’s a bear
alone with salmon
it’s a bear
on the mountain
it’s a bear
up a canyon
it’s a bear
eating berries
it’s a bear
sedated, carried
it’s a bear
answer, query
it’s a bear
clown or faery
it’s a bear...

Premium Member Finding a Teensy Faery Frog
what is that?
don’t know
a monarch that moves weird?
We had to get closer
for it was a tiny little creature
an orange faery frog
with black polka dots
jumping from blade of grass to blade of grass
Doesn’t it have wings?
It sure does!
We were amazed,
wondering why it did not fly off.
But then it did....

Untitled As of Yet.....?
cheerful as the day is long

 dancing through the writhing throng

the heady scent of faery fruit

 enchanting melody of the lute

salty tears of loathe and hate

as they appear by the iron gate

 to drag you away

but this time to stay...

Premium Member Adrie and Faral
Elf Adrie creeps into surviving
elongaged Germanic black forest shadows
Boichem, tolerant gargoyle, pretends indifference.
They have pussyfooted around each other for decades
Pretending the other does not exist.
Adrie sends up a plea to her cousin Faral, the half-faery
Who replies, but is eaten by gargoyle upon forest entry....

Faery Land
Winged creatures delight a field at rest
enchanting the night, her warm request
to tease all blooms in fine array
and spill magic as wind-songs play.

A shimmer of wands brightens oak trees
petals laughing with grass at ease,
joyful the air spilling faery beams
while heaven smiles on earth, agleam.

Faery
Spare me your pity and give me your spite,
‘tis a heartier diet for my kind of sprite.
My mothers are banshees who prey on your tears,
my sisters, the furies who feed on your fears.
The daughter of those who wail in the night,
the playmate of sirens, who in sailors delight.
In this land of faery, nightmares are formed;
my lips are the gateway, knight, be forewarned!...

The Faery Explorer
I am the Faery Explorer
no lives less
always the more
your path I've chosen
learning is my way
this I do many lives through
for my Family Fae

In your step
behind your eyes
upon your breath
my Faery soul lies
we sing, we laugh, we make merry
with you I hurt and cry
I am, the Explorer Faery

Eat drink and be Faery
For tomorrow we Fly!

To Say Adieu, Is So Dire a Crime
To say Adieu, is so dire a crime,
I said only once,
That same time
Her heart shred tears of pride
by the seaside.

I kissed her lips, so sweet and pale,
I kissed only once,
Like in a faery tale
A chaste fire warmed her face
With holy grace.

I cannot leave, beside her side,
I loved only once,
To this very day
The same girl that cried to see
her life with me....

CELTIC GIRL
So like a morning summer rain
and it's thundering
she dances into light and sings
like only she can sing.

She has her Celtic sort of smile
and deep forgiving eyes
that steal a heart, in just a while,
before you realize.

So like a faery promising
what only gods can do
she'll have your love and always bring
out all the best in you.

She'll touch your hand and make you feel
as if you're part of her
so all things in your life are real,
as if they never were....

Premium Member Speaking of Persimmonetta
Persimmonetta was a beautiful faery maiden indeed
She had eyelashes galore and a grasshopper for a steed
Is she the one with pink hair asked a bullfrog, just freed
From a witch’s mushroom house, way down under a weed

I refused to answer, for he was sporting a smart suit made of tweed
His reputation was one of fly-eating, jealousy and greed.
Is her name Persimmonetta? Asked a snake from the weed.
I screamed and ran off, fear leading me far away to meet my own need....
