high are the clouds those
puffy White Ivory clouds that
slowly sway in skies
~
and when it so rains
is it the angels sighing, crying
heavens view obscured
~
light blue background smooth
encapsulating white pearls
densed moisture combine
~
just for fun blocks sun
puffy white in the daylight
white ivory cloud
Those three magic words bounce around my head
Dancing with thoughts like flames in a furnace
Encapsulating my feelings on these past few months
Emotions running wild, breaking loose of their chains
Three words so simple yet mean so much
So often overused, and so often abused
But not this time, because I mean it
I love you?
No
I give up.
Silent One
Silent beyond sounds in wonder
Intriguing the mind with thunder
Luring us all with words of sunder
Each intertwining as we ponder
Nestling a fresh breeze with numbers
Taking our minds putting them under
One at a time with rhyming divine
Not a peep of sound yet, they twine
Encapsulating everyone's mind.

The Storm Inside
The gloomy weather
Pouring rains cascading from the sky
Dark clouds gathering on the horizon
It matches my mood
Making me feel safe
I am nesting in my cocoon
As the storm is brewing
I wish to hide in the shadows
While the tempest is encapsulating me
Wishing the sunlight to disappear
Wishing the dark to protect me
From the reality that we call existence
In the chasm of the unknown
there lingers a need
to be one with consciousness
to be one with being.
However…
thoughts interrupt this emanation
and the soul takes a back seat
to the eternal bliss
that one strives to find.
But stillness helps consciousness break through
escaping the encapsulating thought-created cocoon of the mind
diminishing the need of the ego to control and to be
allowing for true self to emerge and meet the virtue of light of day.
Harmonious drudgery consoles
Broken heart battered,
Tender as it were.
Overwhelming treachery
In her every word.
Powerless to resist,
Alluring charm,
Never to be kissed,
Ravished in her arms.
Seductress oblivious
Malformed monsters unfold.
Tearing away body fair
Vermin a hundredfold.
Encapsulating bliss torn
Morbid soul,
Lulled in subtle idleness
Enthralled not controlled.
Morn awakens light of day,
Sunrays abound,
Sweet restfulness adorn,
New day reborn.
Form:
clasping, holding firm
cradled in unnatural burn
ready to perish
they build their world
of wildflowers
cocooned
breathless build of agony
vainglorious vines
like golden twine
laying over ankles and shins
a blanket of ethereal sun
illuminating, encapsulating
their tethered world
masterpiece of royal robes
exotic dress
must surely finesse
after the kiss
morse code
of dots and dashes
ignored as the impassioned
rise and fall into oblivion
quickening death

So Close, So Far
Beauty-backed brains,
Ever radiant, ever evanescent
And rejuvenating.. while life's rains
Treacherously try to tear and rent
Rippled holes into men's hearts,
Inspiration comes forth from you
Cajoled by Cupid's love-soaked darts
Encapsulating everyone in your view.
Ordinary folk like me
Metamorphose into a being
Only a favoured few see
Like snowflakes which spring
A surprise on creatures in June
Raking leaves which fell from
Aftermaths of a terrific storm
