A,E,M,S Style

All artists

make some messes

every moment experimenting

embroidering masterpieces

seducing art ,making airbrushes

sway merrily all around

Living a To Z Out of Order

Appreciate life, Choose to Be
Embroidering your own Dreams
Find ways to Give, Innovate
Jubilating in others, Occur
Feel free to Listen, Move
Qualify, then Keep, Thank
Narrate and Perpetuate
Rejuvinate, Wander to
Never Underestimate
Value, Hug, Yearn
After you Xyein
Zoom and Sing

Premium Member Sears Merry Mushrooms

In 1968 I was filling my hope chest with embroidered tea towels.
I spent a week’s salary on a mushroom canister set in 1969.
Sears had a collection of mushroom kitchen items.
They were called the Merry Mushrooms.
I began embroidering new tea towels that matched the MMs.
Not realizing that mushrooms had anything to do with drugs.

At the Crossroads

Saša Milivojev - AT THE CROSSROADS

Again I hear the trumpets
And a wedding party from afar
It raises the dead
They are coming
And I'm leaving
Embroidering the shroud
For myself
Made of cheap verses
Of wails and pains
That no one can hear
In the silence
At the crossroads
I speak to the Light and the Darkness

Jubilantly wedded gaseous alien consortium,
Unifying unconventionally vivacious forms and shapes;
Pouring out as though rays of diamond awesome,
Illuminating like the galaxy and lunarscapes;
Tremendously tantalizing as the very cosmos,
Elegantly embroidering the ether-space;
Rendering, thus, yeomen service to the Universe…

Arthur Rackham (1867-1939)

Arthur Rackham lived to draw:
Observe the dreamy things he saw
In his fey, fantastic brain—
Elves and fairies, sprites and trolls,
Giant birds, huge rabbit holes,
Yet the man himself seemed sane…
Modest, mousey, very plain.

Grey and green and burnished brown,
Embroidering an elf-queen’s gown,
Or the foggy English skies
Looming somber up above—
Moody colors children love
And their parents prize as well:
Rackham’s visionary spell..

blue footprints in verse

Once sat friend's home who took a vacation

from repainting ~ rooms messy with white tint

tins, paintbrushes, canvas, half painted walls ~

spent week embroidering at garden pool…

On eighth morning awoke to enigma______

house repainted, rearranged, SOUNDLESSLY!

strange blue footprints on porch, on street pavement

weird phantom painting night, friend spieled sea STUNNED !
