Prepared Because He Cared

Prepared Because He Cared

Priest has emailed us sermon so we can be prepared;
Because for all of us he always cared and has shared;
Amen and Amen,
Again  and again;
From all of our sins are saved and also were spared.

She Emailed

she woke up
to do and did
but since awake
she took time to
write me

but by so doing
she did more
then do so as
i happily read
she wrote

uniquely creative
making me more
now then ever
before to meet
the only one

and
only
one
that
is her

Work It

The gong sounded
Workers rushed away
Souls leave the building
Feet enter the building
Hopes freeze
Dreams freeze
For here was work

The bing sounded
Emailed rushed in
Purpose is force voided
Ambition slowly beheaded
Love die
Happiness die
For here is work

No Soup For You

Jerry and friends, whose humor never failed,
Ended nine years on air by being jailed.
Left viewers feeling blue
Without "No soup for you!"
Most fans were angry. Their protests emailed.

Attack

Emailed apologies with no response
Uncertainty in vials like Novocaine
Contentious stares and plastic smiles
Drenched from the storm with no rain
I lean back in my chair and pull
the little daggers out of my back
Emptiness fills that inadequate hole
As I wait for the next attack

Premium Member Vegas

The things I have emailed you in Vegas, are so some joy might remain in your heart and that joy can be satisfying again. Only by feeling my spiritual connection that can endure without doubts. Those doubts replaced instead by the love of a friend, that can't start or live without trust.

Modern Muse

she said is your she
me because i said
words maybe fibs
or what was whispered

in my mind's ear that she
had spoken to me and
said worship me in words
no longer in the modern

world of technology for she
emailed me and could have
texted but i am the translator
the taker of interpretation

of what she gives me
so i simply read
between the
lines

I emailed you a Tinkerbell gift card, she told me.
Great! I have to look at email.
Not easy.
there are 438, 348, 112 unread emails in my in-box.
I use the search, but cannot find it.
I call her back.
It is probably in spam, she tells me.
There are 45, 018 emails in my spam.
I look at the first ten.
This is futile.
I see a button that says “delete all spam”.
I do that.

So did you either:
Cook eggs in skittle
Then around tittle
And laugh a little?

What role should your
religion play in politics?

Now I have to read sermon
my priest just emailed me.
Tomorrow is Palms for the poor
or it that alms?

The Cylindering Lily

The budding appearance
On the cylindering lily
The fast forming interference
Heating the night chilly

The bird eyed the sparks
Yielding flowering tickles
Clouds ballooned in the parks
The desire designing the sickles

As the colouring heightened
The river curved and charged
The wind gusted and tightened
The poems clouded and enlarged

The sonnet emailed me
Oranging with glee

Under the Balcony

ugly though not
because of my
nose no i'm not
Cyrano maybe
only with words
to woe my Muse
trying to induce
her to fall

fall in love
with not me
but what's heard
or what words being
absurd to think thoughts
that may sway and swoon
her as if she were Leda and i
her swan

her
but my
swansong
all along leading
to this though not
ever my last words
for and because of her
but inspired from her in an

But

But:

You say you love me
You say we have a future
But,
You emailed me
You said it’s not working
I realized you lied
Why did you lie?
I can’t believe,
I didn’t see this coming
I’m so blind
But,
Why did I fall in love?
I trusted you,
I believed you,
My heart accepted you
But,
Why did you lie?
But,
What am I supposed to do?
I only trusted you,
I only believed you,
I only loved you,
But,
Why did you lie?

The Boy With the Crutches

The Boy With The Crutches
It was a Tuesday
In February
A boy came to school on crutches
That he didn’t have
The day before.
I panicked, because I
Didn’t know
What happened.
That day, after school
I did my homework,
Ate my dinner,
And then I got on my laptop.
I played games until
I remembered
The boy with the crutches.
I emailed him, to ask if he was OK.
He replied within 30 seconds.
Even though he’s better now,
I will always remember him
As
The boy with the crutches.
