Made fun of all who did good deeds

where a do-gooder met all her needs

Why Do I Worry

Why do I worry so?
Is it my mind that punishes me as soul?
Why can’t I realize and simply live
Do I have to be a do-gooder and forever give?
I want the whole world to grasp the simple truth
That everyone is soul
But they need proof
Form: Rhyme

The Devil Loves a Do-Gooder

The devil loves a do-gooder,
One who expects everyone to come to order,
Because their vision is much broader.

The devil loves those with good intention,
As they are likely to have a poor sense of direction,
Which could lead to an insurrection.

The devil loves those who rely on a faulty compass,
Who hang around campus,
To make sure everyone catches the same bus.
Form: Imagism

Premium Member what works for the underclass

The underclass falls into things
Appreciating food when it comes along
Grateful for a cup of coffee or a hot roast beef sandwich

They do not beg any more
Their relatives are tapped out
Do-gooder church people types seek them out
This is how they get a new pair of shoes

The underclass is surviving
Without apology
Not caring about changing

What works for them
Would not work for many
They have friends who uplift them
