Ink Pot
Ink Pot

WHEN your heart commits treason,
Don’t commit yourself
to the cages
of your
words.
You are not your fiction.
Open the pot,

Declutter
declutter

decongest

disengage

disconnect

disentangle

Dying Nation
Dying Nation

Anguished, frustrated
Cowering Inside,
Trapped in cobweb
Nation's life.

Disentangle, escape
Tightening grip,

Stymieing progress,
Repressed opinion
Honesty undressed.

Bomb-Blast, massacres
Breaking events,
Delighted vultures
Hunger content....

thrashing in the theatre of the wounded sun
now coiled
like slow smoke
blue on gray
snake skin silent
my river
twisted ghost
lost in the moon
wandering through bones
those places I loved
foam and torrent
swelling into sea
old as blood
frail memory
...
