as they create patterns outside the window;
she follows the patterns, and get destructed
when another pattern forms over them;
she wonders whether that's how love is;
something you cannot make a pattern of- flaming
in caresses and kisses, and the next minute tears

flotsam and jetsam
built a driftwood home

when storms came
that ramshackle shelter

cursed foul weather

never seeking inward
