A Miss diagnosed tragic ailment,
Life strongly suggesting derailment,
Said, “Dis ease among men
Seems not all due to sin,
Let’s pray our death brings pain’s curtailment.”

Crickets
It was not a weather event,
there were no celebrities involved,
besides all our efforts were bent on saving the planet
from global change,
the environment; what's that?

No one mentioned the derailment.
No one knew about the 'controlled' burn,

Empty
If there were a way
to make it all disappear
I would find a way to leave
But, alas, I can't stop
this speeding train
from imminent derailment
and I can't start to believe
in all those things
others speak of
Hope, faith, unconditional love
If I could control this life
I would do just that
and would rise above
all this useless garbage
that doesn't matter
or mean a solitary thing to me
Its all for nothing
Just being wasted
so why can't I just be me?...
